Excellent location!! This is an older style Portugal hotel with older furniture and fixtures. My rate was very affordable. i would rate it 5 stars for price and location. I would have to rate my room a 3 star, which I am certain is the worst in the hotel because it abutted the kitchen and you could here lots of noise starting at 630 am with the pipes rattling and flushing. I got a great price on the room so I had no complaints. The ladies that cleaned and prepared the breakfast were outstanding!!! The desk crew were also very nice. I would definitely stay here again!!
Great location
OLD ELEGANT HOTEL, BEST LOCATION ,RIGHT ON BEAUTIFUL AVENIDA LIBERDADE VALUE,
The hotel service was good, the breakfast was decent. The location is near many tourists sights about a 20 minute walk. I give it only 3 stars in comparison to other hotels that one may stay at in the area. The beds were hard, the room is a bit small and no extra facilities besides breakfast. The showers are passable with hot water. I could not find any air conditioning. There is no airport service as advertised on some sights. So has to take a taxi there from airport or bus.
This was a perfect location for a quick stay in Lisbon - close to train/bus stops. Good value
If you're coming to Lisbon and looking for the perfect location and only needing a hotel to sleep - this is the place to be! Very friendly staff, perfect location to all the hot spots in Lisbon - highly recommend.
The hotel was perfect for a short stay or day trip. An older building with modern amenities, it was very clean and the staff was excellent. I wouldn't recommend for large families expecting "Big Name" style.
Great location, right in the heart of Lisboa. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not luxorious but adequate for tourists. We slept and showered at the hotel but spent the majority of our time site seeing and enjoying Lisboa.
Hotel is located on a access road off a busy street in Lisbon. We arrived on Sunday for a Monday cruise departure. Nothing was open in the area on Sunday-shopping or restaurants. We ended finding a small grocery store around the corner & made our own lunch & ate on a park bench in front of the hotel. A metro stop was just 2 blocks away and we find a huge mall off one of the stops & that was where everyone was on a Sunday. The hotel was neat & clean, rooms are very small but for one night is was o.k. The odd thing about the hotel is when you enter from the street there is no lobby. You have to walk up (or take elevator) 2 flights of stairs to find the entrance to the hotel. Very odd but no harm.
Tiny rooms. Too much trouble with internet access; no internet in rooms, only in the lobby, and difficult to stay on-line there. Very helpful staff though. They made us feel welcome.
Super location. You can walk right into town from here. Small but quiet rooms. Our room faced the inner courtyard which helped but we could not even hear any of the other activities taking place in the hotel
THE LEAST FRIENDLY STAFF I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, from check in to check out ... [...] The breakfast was not much - and not at all what was shown on the hotel's own brochure. I don't know what they would have charged for it, but if I had been paying separately, I would have gone out to a cafe, of which there are tons nearby, with pastries amd decent coffee ... That being said, the rooms were clean, the shower excellent, and the location very convenient, but elsewise, the stay was not great.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff! Located not far from a walk downtown. Lots of high-end places to shop and good food in the area! If you're looking for a place to rest that is clean and cozy, Dom Sancho would be a good choice at a good price! I will stay again!
Close to all attractions, staff very helpful in giving direcions, booked taxi, breakfast was good, lots of variety. Room quiet and comfortable. Shower needed some minor repair, showet head loose, difficult to get in and out, otherwise very clean and definitely would go back.
