room and bath both very nice, elevator building, great breakfast included. Right on the main avenue of Lisbon, with the most elegant shops and stores in immediate vicinity. Park setting of the avenue great place for people watching and relaxing. Very accommodating staff, but with limited knowledge of sights to see or restaurants.
Quite simply one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a city break. Good price, top location, clean, well serviced and wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. Could not have been better, thanks for a great weekend.
The room was small for one person, cramped for two people. There was a double bed with a small closet, no bureau or drawer space. There was no safe, or coffee or tea provided [in the lobby there was Keurig type device for coffee for 1 euro/cup] The lobby was small, no amenities. Hair dryer+ no iron, ironing board, refrigerator, minibar or microwave in the room. No gym, AC or pool. Wide screen TV+. There is a bottle of wine in the room for 8 euros. The breakfast was good-no hot food-excellent array of baked goods, coldcuts, fresh fruit mix, coffee [machine-you prepare the coffee you like-espresso, cappuccino, etc.] cornflakes, juices [apple, orange, tropical blend] The elevator is small-two people or one person with luggage. There is a hand held shower, no tub, no overhead shower. Water pressure excellent. The reasons for staying here are as follows: Excellent Location, [near downtown going one way, the hop on hop off loading area in the opposite direction] the staff is extremely accommodating [they spent a great deal of time with me with directions, maps and printing my boarding passes-I cannot say enough about the staff] and the WiFi is consistently good-excellent. There is no key card-old fashioned keys. I would stay here again but ask for a larger room. It is very reasonable
The hotel have a good location in the heart of Lisbon. However, the facilities are too old, small room, air conditioner not working and the carpets are very Dirty. Definitely this hotel need to be renewed.
Breakfast was enjoyable. The room had everything we required and was very clean, ours was the "economy " room (only one left)-good price but sloping roof in bedroom and bathroom on 3rd floor. Shower was warm and plentiful. Staff very helpful and always someone on duty. Wine, water and coffee available for a little extra money. Location was brilliant, a 10-15minute walk to all of the sights. Next to Avenida tube station and the links were great from there. 6Euros for a day ticket on the tube/tram/bus. Free wifi.
Stayed for 5 nights and arrived late on our first night, i had emailed ahead as i knew it would be a late check in and got a response straight away to tell me it was 24 hour desk service. Only a 15 minute drive from the airport, costing about 11 euros, the hotel is on the main avenue which is the home of all the designer shops such as Gucci, Prada to name but a few. We were given lots of information and check in was easy,if you want to use the safe it 2 euros a day for the key, our room 207 was accessed using the lift or a small winding staircase at the entrance. The room itself was basic, no original features in a hotel that looks so old. There is no tea or coffee or even mini bar in room, but reception has a stocked fridge if you wish to purchase drinks. The room itself was clean and beds very comfy, we overlooked a car park at the back and some building work was going on next door , but did not disturb us. The bathroom again was clean , but could do with some updates to the tiles and fittings. You also have to leave your key at reception when you go out, which wasn't a problem. The area as i said allows easy access to the local area and the surrounding areas, we were given a map in the hotel and made our way down to the river. The area around the main square is full of restaurants and you are hounded alot to go in, menus shoved in your face and they follow you along the street to get your custom, This put me off going down here much and we ate near the hotel, Dote is literally round the corner and a great find, and Hard rock cafe is also a good night out for cocktails and good music. The breakfast in hotel was continental and did the job, there are about 6 tables each seating two people in the dining room so expect a wait in busier times, we bought tour bus tickets from reception and at 20 euros for a two line ticket which lasts 48 hours its well worth it. Anyone that hasn't been to Lisbon, its massive and alot of hills so take comfy shoes and be prepared to walk, the bus allows you to get to places without killing yourself. We also visited Freeport shopping outlet, this was 10 euros each, the coach left at 10am or 1pm and didn't return till either 4.30pm or 7.30 pm, be warned there's not much there, a few designer stores youve heard of but the rest is rubbish. The place is having work done and looks to be expanding but if you go anytime soon, get the 1pm coach, walk round fast and go back on the 4.30pm coach, believe me this is long enough. All in all Ever Lisboa is a great little place, great location, clean and helpful staff, i would stay here again if we came back to Lisbon.
Stumbled on this after having to relocate from the Marriott across the street. So pleased with the location, quite near to metro and sights; nice room with balcony overlooking Avenida but still quiet for sleeping; all amenities, nice breakfast; very helpful and thoughtful staff, clean, updated bath with great shower. It's not the Marriott for decor (thank goodness!) but an excellent choice for a less expensive alternative.
My wife and I drove from Salamanca to Lisbon on the motorway be careful for the motorway tolls going into Portugal you have to turn off the motorway and it only says foreigners on the blue sign we missed it and we had to go to the via verde office in Lisbon to sort it out we were told the system doesn't cope if you don't pay but we did google it and some people had hefty fine. As we were in their office we rented a device to pay the tolls driving to the algarve we inserted it in the car a transmitter supplied by via verde which we gave our debit card details and it automatically paid the tolls without stopping we will have to return it to their office in faro before we leave Portugal . Great time saving gadget. The hotel was in a good central location and the cost included a continental breakfast the bed was ok but very clean . The room had a heat exchanger and air conditioning unit we had it on hot but it was not very efficient we both felt slightly cold in the night and it was noisey. We walked down to the main square a few minutes walk and sat at a nice pavement cafe in the afternoon sunshine it was great and very relaxing , we also went on the tour bus the inner city trip was interesting lasted about 2 hours we also went on the outer city tour but we found it boring . We had a nice time in Lisbon now we are driving to the real bellavista hotel in albuferie I will keep you posted
Booked a double budget room on booking.com but didn't see the option for number of guests so when my partner and I arrived we were told we would need to pay a supplement for the 2nd guest. Receptionist was helpful and explained everything for us and the supplement turned out to only be €30 for the 3 nights. The room was definitely budget. We were on the 3rd floor and the ceiling was very low. The bathroom could use an upgrade as the shower was out-dated. Bed was fairly comfortable but not the best. Breakfast was genuinely one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had. The pastries were fresh and very tasty and the selection was really good considering the small size of the breakfast room. The location was good as its close to the Avenida metro stop. The walk up Avenida is very steep but that's what Lisbon is like as a whole so you do get used to it after a day or two.
Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights ,the location was good ,close to the metro and within walking distance of nightlife, but quiet enough to sleep uninterrupted.the rooms were nice and clean if a little basic, comfy beds and a tv. Breakfast was nothing exciting but enough to start the day, staff were very polite and helpful , overall I was pleased with this hotel as it was one of the cheapest we could find at the time and I would recommend to anyone wanting a short stay in lisbon
