Close to Sintra , this house is really clean and looks newly renovated. It misses a bit of warmth from decorations etc but is a great place to relax and a good base to explore Sintra/Lisbonne and even the Sesimbra area.

The place was dirty upon arrival. The house smelled of smoke and mold. The beds had hair, dirt and bugs. The kitchen utensils were not cleaned. The hallway floor was coming up and it couldn’t be fixed. The shower drains did not drain properly. Maintenance and cleaning couldn’t come for 24 hours. They couldn’t rectify all of the issues and offered minimal compensation for the problems. If you are not interested in wasting a day of your vacation dealing with issues on a house rental that isn’t worth the time or effort, I would avoid this property.
