Parking area was a little tricky on a slope, not many handicapped spots. I asked for a handicap room, which had a great shower but no grab bars at the toilet! My elderly mother had trouble getting up and down. The walls are very thin.

We stay here quite often and I have to admit the properties getting a teeny bit rundown. They need to get rid of those ropes on the wall in the rooms. They’re old, dusty and they smell bad. It was actually bothersome.

Staff was friendly and location is great, it's right in the beach. We enjoyed the pool. The room was clean although it smelled strongly of bleach when we first arrived. The beds, unfortunately, were not very comfortable and they had mattre protectors that crinkled loudly anytime we moved.

The jacuzzi and sauna are out of order. There's a sign on the front desk saying they're undergoing renovations for two weeks. We went for a swim in the pool and decided to check out the jacuzzi. It's clear it's been empty for at least several months, maybe even a year. The sauna is boarded up, and no one's been doing any repairs. I'm sure the management just changes the sign with the date, but they're not actually doing any repairs.

The room wasn't very clean. There was lots of hair in the sheets. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff are great and understood when we wanted to check out early and not stay the next night. They have attempted to update the hotel, but it is still very dated.

5th floor room we were 1st given was fantastic…nice firm mattress & pillows & no stomping from above. BUT the fireplace (that was an additional cost) did not work :(. Called front desk, they were prompt to get a call to maintenance. They came relatively quickly. It took for what seemed like forever, but I’m sure in reality 10-15 minutes to determine he wasn’t getting it fixed right away, that he was going to grab a key to a new room. Came right back to get us down the 4th floor room. By now the mood has been killed. Our first “adult” weekend getaway for a bit now. Just wanna get situated & find food before everything is completely closed. Room still decent, not quite as nice as 5th floor, but still worth it. Fireplace barely worked, but rolled with it. Bed & pillows were too soft for us, but I’m sure others prefer that. Smaller TV. Pretty sure kids above us, at like 7am. Bonus of the floor being on same level as most amenities & front office, so no stairs or elevator. Pool & hot tub hours, and adults only in hot tub, were fantastic!!! Great grounds. Wished we’d ask to have a fire pit lit one night. Awesome beach access & views!!! All employees we interacted with were kind, friendly, & respectful.

The view is the best thing about this property. The room was redecorated, but the couch was incredibly uncomfortable. The gas fireplace wasn’t working on arrival. The screen door wasn’t functional. The chairs on the balcony were covered in seagull poop. There wasn’t even coffee available in the lobby.

Staff was nice. Two ladies working. One failed way to much causing a few people to be checked in while the other lady worked hard chucking in multiple people. Wasn’t aware the jacuzzi was closed which one the main reason we chose this place. Our room says partial ocean view however we are looking straight into another building with no view at all. Room quality is good overall.
