Stayed for 4 nights. Super clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent service. Great wifi. Didn’t eat at the hotel but restaurant seemed good. Close to Larcomar and Mercado 28. Would definitely come back. Good value for money.
Ibis is a very hip yet beautiful hotel. The decor is beautiful and modern. The rooms are small but I haven’t been to a hotel yet that isn’t. We requested a high floor and the receptionist gave us a room on the highest floor (17th). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located from the strip where all the stores are and cat park. I would’ve given them 5 stars but the front desk staff and security was rude. Granted it is nice then have security guards and cameras. Even with the hotel being in what seemed like a safe location. With that said I loved the hotel itself. From the decor to the cleanliness. Oh the a/c and heat options were a plus as well : )
Great location. Rooms are a little cramped. I wouldn’t recommend a long stay but if you are just in lima for a night or two it is great and all of the cool sites and Miraflores are walkable. Check out Mercado 28 across the street!
Room is tiny, yet very clean. No room for luggage. I had to place my one luggage on the small table that was under the window, which then made it difficult to see out or open the curtain. Sitting chair is plastic and uncomfortable. Room card scanner failed to work and couldn’t get into my room. The staff was nice and helpful and finally used a gizmo to make the scan unlock the room so I can go to sleep. They never returned my room card and the scanner was not repaired. Fortunately it was my last night and I left the next morning. Overall it was a very clean room. No frills. But then the price was right and I didn’t expect anything fancy. More a business travelers type hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. They happily helped us when we could not get our hotel safe to open when we were about to check out. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. It also is close to some fantastic restaurants.
I stayed at this hotel twice in 3 weeks while in Peru , very good value for money ! Only a small hotel but staff are friendly and helpful and they can speak good English, it’s also in a fairly good location as well , rooms are average size but clean and comfortable! So I would recommend this place if your on a budget or just want a nice simple place to sleep !
I was pleasantly surprised be how modern and trendy the decor was. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. The front desk check in service was quick and friendly. The WiFi was consistently strong and available throughout the hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Lima.
We stayed at this location for 7 days and it was just OK. Modern and clean hotel. Breakfast was good. Location great, walking distance to barranco and larcomar. Rooms are compact but comfortable. The reason I rated this hotel 3 stars its because the staff. Most of the staff is very unfriendly. Their was 2 or 3 employees that are nice everyone else needs to be trained again. They look miserable never smile and it seemed they were annoyed by having a lot of guests. That’s my perception. You walk in the hotel and they have carts similar to the ones from the airport(Your on your own taking your luggage to your room lol FYI). They have this “taxi” service podium by the entrance to assist you with taxis. The guy that operates this is very incompetent and careless of your time. My advice order an Uber. The guards that are always at the door are the worse at being friendly ... omg these guys look so mad all the time and it’s scary to even ask them a question. The guys with glasses at the buffet another one that looks miserable. Overall the staff don’t care for you so if your that type of guest that’s going to need extra attention this place is not for you. We just mind our own business and try not to have contact with anyone since we were scared of asking anything. Just another hotel to stay and spend the night nothing spectacular.
Rooms are tiny, bed was very comfortable, small bathroom, very basic room but does the deed. Costed me around 75 dollars without breakfast. Location wasnt that great where you just come out and everything is available. I would say average, for a budget traveler.
Considering the price paid, our one night stay was a great value. Everything seems clean and the hotel is located well enough. The only odd annoyance was the lack of soap in the bathroom. There was only 1 small bar of soap and 1 small shampoo bottle for the sink and shower. So bring your own or buy some more soap in Peru.
