The hotel is located in an up-and-coming neighborhood, not too far away by bus from the Miraflores area. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, casinos, theater, etc. nearby, at a fair price, not as expensive as the touristic areas. Rooms are small, but have every thing a guy could ask for. All and all, a good budget hotel.

We rented a room at Hotel Candamo for a quick stay before heading to Lima Airport. We arrived early in the morning and communicated our time of arrival in order to have a smooth check in but were greeted by a doorman who didn’t seem to be notified of the situation. The room was simple but had a surprising giant window that enabled us to see through the bathroom from where the bed was placed. In comparison to the price, though nothing extraordinary, Hotel Candamo sufficed our needs.

Good location

The hotel is in good condition, clean and organized. Rooms are also clean and roomy, and they have a safebox, which is always reassuring. The neighbourhood is excellent, I really like Lince in the city of Lima. It's got good restaurants around, a movie theatre nearby, casinos, close to public transportation to go downtown or to the touristic area of Miraflores.

The shower in the first room we got had very little pressure. It’s like washing in light rain. So we asked to move and the new room was just right. Beds are comfy and the place has excellent soundproofing. It’s very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants, shops and a mall is literally across the street. I would stay there again.
