They were dog friendly and there were lots of good walking trails (in the town of Lewistown) that were very close to Trail's End. The owner was friendly.
This is a typical 1050's vintage motel. The room was suitable, warm and dry, and the price was right.
Old hotel, old rooms, nice people. Would not choose to stay there again.
Hotel was beyond dated, over priced for what we received, no hair dryer, bullet holes in bathroom window, neighbors are loud, gap around for allowed too much of the cold air inside, beds were worn and sunk in, bathroom towels were thin and faded, etc.
The bedding and towels were very nice quality. The room was clean. The front desk staff was very kind. We had an end room that faced the main highway, and the windows were single pane and not secure, so it made for a somewhat noisy night with traffic. It is not an upscale hotel by any means, but for the price, it worked for the night.
very basic motel, clean but old. I was comfortable staying there. good for the price
The motel was pretty run down. There were dead gnats all over the ceiling in the bathroom. The "free" internet didn't work. I check out 2 rooms and they both smelled STRONGLY of Lysol. It was VERY over powering and I almost left, but it was already almost 8 PM when I checked in so I stayed. The price was good, and that's about it.
Loved the stay! Clean room. Staff was very courteous! Will stay again when traveling and will recommend!
