Our check in at 8:00pm was fine. The people who checked in ahead of me we older and had tried to check in at 5:00 and were told their room was not ready so they had to come back. Their room was next to ours so we ended up going up to our rooms together. Their room still had furniture tossed all over, a broken dresser, clearly no one had serviced the room during their three hour wait. They finally got a new room. We we came home the second night no one was at the front desk for at least 20 minutes (apparently a room door would not open). Another couple was told their room was not ready. It looked like laundry powder was spilled in the hallway, it was still there when we checked out two days later. It seems like many of the issues could have been solved by having more staff so at at least one person could be at the desk while the other could help with all the other stuff. The mean drinking beer, smoking and grilling by the small pool did not bother me but had I had my kids with me they would not have been hanging out at the pool.

I submitted my survey with these notations: Next to impossible to turn on water faucet in the bathtub. Afraid I would develop a hernia if I had to do it daily---already had my hernia operation! Chair at desk had completely torn out front cover on the seat. Needed to use a bed pillow to sit high enough to use the desk. Light on bed side table flickered. No latch on patio door. No security Bathroom door would not close. Help seemed to be on edge.

Where to begin. Let's start with the good and work to the bad. The wifi doesn't suck. OK that's good. There are no bedbugs either. A bit worse, the chain for the door fell out of the wall the first time we used it. But they fixed it. The mess they left on the floor after fixing it was a bit much though. Onto something bad. The entire hotel was filled with violent, belligerent drunks that wanted to fight everybody. Even the dozens of people with huge dogs. Yes the hotel was filled with giant dogs, drunks and people smoking copious amounts of weed in non smoking rooms. Then there was the car alarm that kept going off the first night. For something like 90 minutes the car alarm kept going off. The desk clerk had no idea who it belonged to and didn't seem to care. Did I mention the drunks? Yeah, for roughly the ENTIRE day of Saturday they were trying to pick fights with each other, the dogs, the dog owners, etc. Everybody but me but that's because I look even crankier than a coyote with the croup. At least the drunk golfers on the third floor weren't too bad. They catcalled everybody. Women, dogs, me. I bet they would have hit on Bill Cosby. Classy group of people this hotel caters to. The AC unit was pretty good. You could see right through it to the outside. The mountain of dog turds, hobo leavings and random trash piled up against the rail cars was a nice touch. The dog kennels under the window left a refreshing smell over the pulp mill across fro

I apologize for not being able to rate your hotel, however the staff was kind enough to let us check in early as we were there for a funeral on Saturday and then we ended up having a family emergency and had to return home.

I booked two rooms, and they were both adequate. One was for my wife and I; the other was for my mother and father-in-law, who were visiting us from China. Check-in service was just fine. I must say that the beds were just fine, and both rooms were clean and neat. It was not until the next morning that just before checking out my parents-in-law admitted that they were unable to take a shower, because they could not operate the faucet in the bath tub. I went to their bathroom, and sure enough, I was also unable to turn the water on. The faucet was loose, and no matter how I worked it--no water. Though they were disappointed, they gave up the idea of staying to take a shower in another room. When I confronted the clerk, she apologized, and stated that other guests had complained about that problem, but it was later revealed that they had not pulled hard enough on the faucet. Huh! I was told that if it was determined that the faucet didn't work properly, I would receive a refund of our room fee. That was last week. I still haven't heard from them.

Quick check-in, staff was pleasant, room was clean.

The lobby was in good shape and the continental breakfast was decent but our room was pretty bad. It was freezing cold walking in as the heat was turned all the way off. There was a crusty/crunchy "stain" on the carpet right at the entrance. The inside of the bathtub was peeling away and there wasn't an available outlet to plug in the iron. Entertainment was a very old tv which we didn't even bother to turn on. Bottom line, it was a cheap, not very comfortable bed to crash on after we attended a wedding. Next time I'd pay the extra few bucks for a better hotel!

I have never traveled or stayed in a hotel with my dogs before and I wan't sure how it would go. The staff were very kind about expectations and very friendly. The room have been recently renovated and was clean. I was concerned about the location being on the highway and near railroad tracks, but it was quiet and we had no disturbances. I would stay there again.

Everything was clean. The beds were always made up and tthe room was cleaned each day. The only thing that could improve would be beds that aren't quite so hard.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was alright. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. Overall, it was pretty good for the money and I would stay again.

During our stay we tried to conserve on linen so after 4 days we let housekeeping in to clean only to have my medications stolen and our belongings rummaged through. The towels were all stained, the air conditioner didn't work properly leaving the rooms very warm and the air stale, and the hot tub was closed the whole visit. The front office staff was very attending but the majority of the visit was awful. I have stayed there on a previous visit but would not go back or recommend it to anyone else.

The hotel is older with an unapealling color choice in the halls. Requested a ground floor room but got the 3rd floor. If we had known there are no rooms on the first level we would have shopped around. We stayed 2 nights and didn't sleep well the first night because the a/c couldn't keep up with the heat and everytime it kicked on it sounded like a train was coming thru our room. Very noisy! The 2nd night was better so they may have fixed the problem. The TV was too low to see well from the bed. It should have been placed higher. The fridge did not get cold and the things that we wanted to stay frozen actually thawed out in the freezer. The covered parking was a plus especially in the 100+ degree temp. The train outside our room was not as noisy as the a/c and didn't bother us at all. We checked out the breakfast but it was lacking fruit and wasn't very appealing, so we didn't endulge.. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.

Will not stay again, staff is very pleasant. Pool needs some work was ice cold. Rooms small area smells bad. Restaurants in walking distant good thing cause continental breakfast was not worth eating. I've spent less money at a better hotel. If you just need a cheap place for a night go someplace else will not stay there again. Elevator makes noises I would use the stairs sounded unsafe. Staff was very friendly that was the only plus

Close to my downtown business needs. Good restaurants are close by. Be aware that the local paper mill can stink up the downtown. That is not the hotel's fault. Nice staff. Very attentive. Good price.

Pleasant experience. Courteous staff, decent breakfast, clean. I would stay there again. We weren't planning to use the pool, but our kids did. The pool was too cold to be able to get all the way into. We booked 2 rooms, our shower worked well - but theirs had just a trickle of water pressure. The train was a bit close, but didn't keep us from sleeping. We are runners and the proximity to the river trails was awesome.

Even though the staff was good, the hotel is outdated and overpriced. Of course we picked college graduation weekend at U of I to stay here so the rates here and all over town were elevated. Breakfast was...below par as their waffle machine was broken so that left cereal or biscuits and gravy which again was below par. There was no place available in Moscow or Lewiston during graduation weekend so they can pretty much ask any price for junk and people will pay it.

While the hotel was clean and the room comfortable, there were no amenities. We asked for additional towels at 8:30pm and was told she was alone and could deliver around 9:30. we decided by 6am would be fine. at 12:30 am, received a call they could bring towels in 30 minutes, which they did not do. So not only did they wake us, they did no follow-through. at 5:30 am, the fire alarm went off to mass confusion. apparently, someone burnt something in the waffle maker and triggered the alarm. breakfast terrible and very cramped space. There is a reason we don't stay at 2 star hotels but we unfortunately had no choice, everything was booked for our weekend at Pullman.

Staff were outstanding, would recommend and did xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Our room was clean and smelled fresh (a pet peeve with hotels is the bad carpet smell). The only complaint was the continental breakfast--it was mediocre and the area to access it was small.

My husband and I went to Lewiston for a fishing trip. We have stayed at the Guest House Inn years before. We find it a clean and friendly place. There is a really nice steak house called MacCallum's across the street. It is a wonderful place to eat. The location of the hotel makes it very easy to get around. The only negative is the bar located on the first floor it very smokey. We would recommended this hotel to our friends. It's not the Ritz, but it is a great value for your money.
