We love the station hotel its are go to in december the staff are amazing the hotel is clean but the actual room we were in the shower water did not empty this needs sorted asap and the lighting was not great couldnt see to put makeup on perhaps better mirrors

The room was clean, spacious. Comfy bed, pillows a bit hard (but I like soft ones, would probably be grand for others). Very little toiletries, just shampoo /shower gel in the shower and bar of soap, so take your own if you are staying. Agood amount of instant coffee singles and tea in the room which I liked,. Nice bar /restaurant area downstairs lovely paint of guess and nice food, breakfast was usual stuff, but nice, gresnd loads of food and drink. I would definitely stay again

Overall the experience was very good, staff, service, location and dining. However the very large window in our room was moving significantly during a very stormy first night of our stay. I spoke to reception but no one came to the room to check. The window frame creaked and groaned all night. The second night was a bit better but as it was windy on the third night, the noise was so distracting, i got very little sleep again.
