I stayed only over night for a business meeting. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was extremely nice. I wish I had reason to stay there another night! The only downside was that I had no knowledge of hotel amenities because nothing was said at check in and there didn't appear to be any notices/literature close by, within reach at check in. It'd be nice to know if the hotel provided a continental breakfast, for example, or if getting a newspaper was possible, etc. I'll definitely stay there the next time in town!!

First time staying in Leonardtown proper for business trip to the Naval Air Station. Fell in love with the classic small town flavor, access to the waterfront and wharf and amenities in and around town. The hotel is warm and comfortable and the staff was responsive. Plenty of close by parking is available. It was a quiet break from the bustle of the Three Notches Highway strip in Lexington Park.

This hotel lacked service, and the hotel was in disrepair. They are closing their doors and I wish I had know this before booking. They need to go out of business now and not wait until the end of the year.

Well-situated in downtown Leonardtown -- easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. Everything just worked.

I sent five employees down to work in this area. They stayed elsewhere the first week and they were all immensely thrilled to spend the second week in such a nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks.

Everything was as you would expect at a good hotel. Clean, efficient, trained staff easy parking.

Everything was fine except for an incessant banging noise through the night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the location was great with restaurants and shops right there within easy walking distance.

We stayed in Leonardtown for one night after a wedding reception. The hotel is just off the quaint downtown area. The interior of the hotel is attractive and the room is no exception. Some of the finishes are obviously more high end than others which leaves everything feeling a bit unbalanced but it was much nicer than my husband thought it would be because it's only two stars. There was ample room to put our daughter's travel bed up in an area where she couldn't see us which saved us from having to hide in the bathroom while she fell asleep which was nice. The breakfast was pretty sparse but the hotel is within walking distance to two cafes. The food at the one we went to was tolerable at best but the staff was superb. For the price, we were pleased with what we got and if we were ever going to Leonardtown again we'd definitely stay there.

First off, I have to say that this place was pretty new, clean and comfortable, and if you just need a place to stay for a night or two in St. Mary's County (we were visiting St. Mary's College) I can recommend it. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. But at the same time, I found the place kind of strange, and they clearly were trying to keep expenses down. What I mean by strange is that, while the way the space was laid out had the feel of a budget hotel, they seemed to have splurged on many of the building materials. The bi-fold closet door, for example, might have been hollow-core or louvered in a budget hotel, but in this place it was solid, 2" thick and must have weighed 100 lbs. The bathroom had marble and granite and solid stainless steel. The TV was a wall-mounted flat panel. Although I did find it odd that the $10 LED alarm clock was placed on the writing desk, on the opposite wall from the headboards of the beds. At the same time, the towels were of minimal size and maybe a bit on the thin side. There was a coffee maker in the room but only enough supplies to make a single cup. The soaps and such were budget-hotel generic. The shower had just enough pressure to provide a steady flow, but not enough to provide a satisfying shower (we were on the 3rd floor, perhaps they didn't have any system to boost the street pressure?). The hallway ice machine had yet to be installed, or perhaps it had been removed. Free wireless Internet was provided but it was so slow as to be close to worthless -- like we were sharing a 56K dialup uplink. The free breakfast was disappointing. Single-serving cereals, bagels, 1" muffins that seemed to be at least a day old, and miniature donuts that were individually wrapped in plastic. We walked down the street to a real restaurant with a breakfast buffet. So again, if you just need a safe, clean, friendly place to crash for a night, this will do it. If you plan on spending any time in your hotel, you might want to look for another place.
