You had to pay for breakfast, unlike most places where I have stayed, and it was limited. There was only one person working to do everything - check-in, food, etc. It was hum-drum, nothing special.

The property was absolutely wonderful, but the staff unfortunately was very rude and constantly annoyed that they had to be there to begin with. I understand having a job is a pain in the butt but don’t make it visible for your guests. I could easily see the eye rolls and non welcoming responses when ever we had a question about the town. Sitting in the lobby enjoying the evening aesthetics, we could see both the bar tender and staff worker glaring over at us and then looking at each other as if we didn’t belong there. Just made us feel weird and uncomfortable - also when a guest asks you to take a picture of them celebrating a special moment, don’t roll your eyes. Or if you do, be better at hiding it. Other than that, nice property

The owners did a wonderful job converting this obviously standard motel with rooms that are entered from the outdoors.The lobby/restaurant area was beautiful and comfortable. The outside terrace area was also well appointed but unusable on the lovely evening we were there because the cushions were wet from a recent rainstorm. Too bad. I did not see an elevator so ask for a first floor room if stairs are a problem for you.

It was a last minute reservation for us and how thankful to land here. Beautiful, hip, super friendly clean. Gorgeous fire pits if you want to sit outside and the restaurant inside was terrific. Definitely coming back. And the rooms were cosy modern clean comfy beds!!
