After a long flight and a day spent in Dublin this hotel was perfectly located. Check in was quick. We stayed just one night, a good size room with 3 beds. Breakfast was 10 euro . Not much to see in leixlip but a good place to rest before the long journey.
My husband and I spent two nights at the Springfield Hotel. We highly recommend this hotel because of the wonderful staff. They were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us with two issues we had. On the day we were leaving, we could not get our US currency exchanged using their machine in the lobby because it was out of money. We needed the currency to pay the Airport Hopper bus to the airport. Padraig, an employee, got us the currency we needed. Then, while on the Airport Hopper, the bus driver told us the hotel called him that I had left clothing in my room. Marlene and Sarah, desk staff, got a cab and sent my clothes to the airport. I was so thankful that it arrived before I had to leave on my flight. The main item I left was my gown for my daughter's wedding which was in a few days. I am so grateful to these wonderful people. We loved Ireland and plan to visit again and we will stay at the Springfield Hotel.
The staff were wonderful, particularly Marleen on reception, James serving us dinner in the bar and Michael serving breakfast! Marleen was above and beyond brilliant! She accommodated all our requests and more! We were offered an upgrade to a family room even though at the time of booking I booked a double in error! This alone would be reason enough for us to repeat visit! But that with the lovely friendly staff including the barman (and I didn't get his name sorry!!) will certainly bring us back again!! We would usually stay in Dublin City, but we will now be frequenting this hotel instead!! Rooms were big and spacious, spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel. Bar food very tasty, reasonably priced and breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and prompt!! We will definitely be back!!
stayed here on buisness for 2 nights room was ok staff were not really interested in anything i had my vehicle.broken into in the hotel carpark when i discovered in morning the nite porter went out and swept up all the glass around vehicle think this was so other guests didnt see that there had been a break in in the carpark then the manageress said oh we have a secure park around the back (no pkint saying this after break in ) wont stay here again as staff were not bothered that my vehicle had been broken into and no cctv where it was parked this area is rife for bresk ins so if u got valuables or tools ask to park in secure space they should advertise this at reception but they wo t want guests knosing there vehicle is in danger if left over night
Had the pleasure of staying here for a wedding in May 2017. Firstly the service provided to all guests was truly amazing. Special word for Gerard, Eileen and Paraic who really understand what looking after a customer entails. Also a call out to all of the waiting and bar staff who certainly seem to be well versed in the art of looking after their customers. Nothing was too much trouble for them down to ensuring any late arrivals were provided with food (without anyone asking!). The room where the reception was held was absolutely amazing and I would recommend that anyone planning a wedding seriously considers the Springfield. We stayed in room 108 which was adequate for what it was i.e. staying on the night of a wedding. Breakfast was excellent again with great choice. In summary could not find any fault with the Springfield and would heartily recommend as both somewhere to stay, have lunch or hold a wedding.
The staff went out of their way to show us what we should do in Dublin, how to get the bus opposite, how much it was, changed up euro notes to coin as bus doesn't give change. Nothing was too much bother we stayed from the Thursday through to Sunday, allowed to leave luggage there till we caught the hopper service back to airport ( also told about this gem by the hotel). The rooms were clean, comfy ( bed was fantastic). the food was good and reasonably priced as was the cider.I cant recommend this hotel too much, if I was just wanting to "do" Dublin I would stay there and bus in in and out of the city.
I did not stay in this hotel so my review is my opinion of an excellent wedding venue. I will start by saying that in my opinion this is a Really beautiful wedding venue, Food was lovely and staff were really friendly and professional. The only downfall is the gents toilet in the public bar. IT STINKS and I mean REALLY DISGUSTING.
Had the most fantastic experience with this hotel. Eileen, Padraig and Ger were superb in catering for everything and everyone, cannot thank or recommended the staff or hotel enough. From our first meeting with Padraig we were totally relaxed knowing we were in good hands, the team here are extremely professional and attentive whilst still managing to keep things light and upbeat which translated to our guests who loved everything on the day from the food to entertainment to value of the rooms, book this hotel and let the staff do what they do best and you will be so glad on the big day you have. Kind regards, Rachel.
Three of us had a very pleasant two night stay here, in a family room on the top floor. The room was spacious and had a balcony with far reaching views to the mountains in the distance. It was clean and comfortable with a generous sitting area. The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful, we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in this area. We would certainly consider staying here again in future.
Spent three nights at the Springfield Hotel last week and was very happy with all aspects of stay. The hotel is clean, spacious and modern and the staff were very helpful. There is good reliable free wifi available throughout the hotel. Food and drinks were good but I thought a little on the expensive side. There is a hoppa bus that does drop offs and pick ups from the airport. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel to get into Dublin.
