Great communication from host on how to check in. Very clean and modern room, complimentary coffee/tea/sugar as well as some bikkies. Felt very secure as there are 2 doors that need a code just to get into the building. Bed and pillows were comfy and a great bathroom with lots of space. Only downside is that it's not very sound proof, you can hear whenever someone enters the hall or outside, but other than that, highly recommended!

The rooms are accessible via a metal staircase at the rear of the building. There were a group of males hanging around our works van, and there was a distinct smell of illeagle substances. The external door was broken, and the rooms weren't very clean (we are a cleaning company travelling on business). We didn't stay, found other accommodation as we didn't feel safe.

The pub was also a restaurant serving Indian food . The food was absolutely delicious the staff great and we had a great night out.

No storage, sparse amenities, miserly management.

No storage or seating in lobby, if you don`t have a car and have traveled in public transport, you are going to hang on to your luggage, standing. I was told that `normally there is storage but...`, from my experience you can make out that it is not a reliable service they provide. There is not a single seat in the lobby to wait. I am sure there is an explanation for everything but this to help customers like myself who traveled a lot to find themselves hanging around, wasting a day with the luggage, exhausted. It is above a bar and restaurant which is noisy, the road noise making it a nightmare. Again, it may not be hotel fault but the information may be useful for some. There are no wardrobes. The double bed is very small. There is no basic daily cleaning or bed-making although their off-peak rates are as high as any other hotel. They did not furnish us with replenishments although we paid for two nights. So it was just one bottle water 500ml for two of us for two nights and sparse everything else. They put everything down to sustainability although it does come across as them being miserly. The lights keep going off multiple times before you have entered the code. Client experience or business integrity didn`t come across as top on their list. This property is far away from the centre; you cannot walk anywhere other than the bus stop which is also not anywhere near the door step either. The daily rates are totally unjustifiable.

The rooms it self were absolutely lovely and no issue with them at all. The car park was extremely small and difficult to move about due to it being on a main road and also the lobby door was always unlocked whenever I had to leave the room, felt unsafe from that perspective due to anyone then being able to get into the area

Broadway pub/restaurant with rooms Leics

Broadway had Fors & against , first the Fors: Close to work Rooms clean Restaurant underneath Not bad price Against : Told I couldn’t have food in bar on England final night yet other people were eating in the bar . This was later explained as the rooms and the pub/restaurant are 2 separate businesses- so they (hotel) were incorrect telling me that Cold water no hot Quite steep shallow steps up to rooms Handrail on right hand side stops before you reach bottom - not good Wamking down the stairs you have to position feet at 10 to two - not good , feels unsafe Worst was the party in the car park from 11.20-2pm when I had work the next day . There are no hotel staff on site - it’s all self check in Not the hotels fault it has to be said just really inconsiderate people
