My Chinese New Year celebration at this hotel was fabulous! Second time staycation, i loved their breakfast buffet. I absolutely loved the infinity pool with view of the Majestic Mayon Volcano. Over all, a fab place with their relaxing spa and sumptous food. I only have one suggestion, hoping that on my third visit, my room will be nice and complete with functional amenities and with all the toiletries readily available.

Many things didn't work. I have several problems in my room, the toilet flush don't work, don't have hot water in shower bath, they took to long to solve every problems, etc. I had bad experience in this hotel. The only good thing it was the beautiful view to Volcano.

Service was great but our room was not as clean as we expected especially the bathroom. It was not clean and there were roaches which made me very uncomfortable during our stay. Apparently it wasn't only us who has been experiencing roach problems. Food was not really spectacular at all. Just improve the cleanliness and you'll be good to go.

The overall hotel is great from the room to staffs and the environment. The best is the view of Mt Mayon from the hotel swimming pool. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea there would be a wonderful moment with the best view of nature.

My family and I stayed here for a day during Christmas holidays.Upon check in,we were greeted by friendly staff and a welcome drink. My nieces loved the infinity pool!If you happen to visit Legazpi City,Albay in the Bicol Region, consider this place!

Not worth the price. Room smell like mold, bathroom was not very clean, there was also bugs, and unfortunately for dinner and breakfast there was cold food. And overpriced. Next time I'll find a better place to stay.

Worst hotel of my stay in Philippines. Looks like they spent all their time and money on the lobby. The carpet was so dirty I didn’t want to remove my shoes. Bugs were crawling all over the the coffee cups and desk. The room was heavily presumed to cover the stench. The room next door didn’t smell as bad but was just as dirty. The bathroom was nice but none too clean. If you have another choice go there the Oriental will ruin your vacation.

I stayed at this hotel 1 night to view the Mayon and have never been more disappointed in my life . I had a message and it was the receptionist who came to try to score a foreigner .She was dressed in a miniskirt and it felt like I was being molested. At the restaurant the food was so bad that I could not eat it .When I complained they informed me that I was the one mistaken and would not come back to my table again. I had to go out in a strange city at night to find food. I Spoke to a manager who seemed sincere but nothing was done. The staff are not trained the place is dirty and old and it is run by morons. STAY AWAY !!!!

The only things that the hotel has going for them is the fair customer service, which could also do with a little more improvement, a little more effort, and that great view of the Mayon. My family and I booked a one night stay at this hotel. The place is located at the top of a hill, and you have to go through some sort of village. The first thing I noticed was that there wasn’t enough signs to point clients to the right direction. If I remember correctly, we noted only one sign. When we arrived there, the exterior was quite nice. However, the concierge had no one manning it upon our arrival, so we didn’t know where to check in. We had to look around for a few minutes to find someone who pointed us to the right direction, as the “business center” also did not have any signage. We booked a Mayon view room, and were given a room with a great view on the 4th floor, except that there were small roaches all over. We killed about 6-7 and saw a few more we weren’t able to kill. The room smelled of damp rags and molds, the bathroom was smelly and some areas were covered with mildew. There was no shampoo or bath gel in the shower, no lotion. It seemed like the room had not been used for quite a while. We requested to be transferred to another room and after about 30minutes, we were transferred to a room on the 2nd floor. The 2nd room was cleaner, the air was a bit better (less damp), but the toilet seat cover was coming off, the toilet barely flushed (it totally failed just prior to check out), and the faucet was leaking out unto the countertop every time it was turned on. Breakfast was so-so, food was fine, service could use improvement. What bothered me was that there were a few small roaches on one of the buffet tables. On the bright side, the “kakanin” selection was not too bad. Overall, I was expecting a bit more from a four-star hotel of that price. It seemed like the hotel was just banking on their great location (for viewing the Mayon), with nothing else to offer.

For the high price tag this hotel is an utter let down for numerous reasons. Breakfast is an offering of food which has sat uncovered, in the sun, for numerous hours and is composed of leftovers from dinner of the night before. The pool is marvellous, but is incredibly dirty and gross. Deckchairs that surround it are always wet and smelly. The rooms are mouldy and out dated. Staff are indifferent, often on their phones and seeking the path of least resistance, detrimenting the experience of guests to make their day a bit easier. The only redeeming factor is the al a carte restaurant which has superb food, but is staffed by individuals who also do not pay attention to guests' needs and wants. Upon my first night here as well, I was faced with loud disco music playing near the restaurant... it felt like I was at a night club. Not the experience you want from a "4 star" hotel. This place is a joke for its price and should reconsider its price for its offering. I do not recommend staying here WHATSOEVER
