Secluded, luxurius, private, large pool, walk to beach

Named after a rare local flower, Villa Arenaria nestles in a lush, tranquil setting among olive, lemon, organge and pine trees. Built using local stone and tastefully furnished to a very high standard, our villa benefits from a secluded and quiet position on the outskirts of Lefkada town, and only 900m form the long sandy beach of Agios Ioannis.

Villa Arenaria is a 120sq.m., 2-bed/2.5 bath stone villa with a huge private pool of 55sq.m. occupying c. 2 acres of land. The villa features one bedroom with a queen bed and another with two single beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, whereas there is an extra wc with laundry facilities. The indoor dining area is overlooking the pool while next to it there is a rustic fully equipped kitchen. At the sitting room, there is plenty of space with a 3-seater sofa (which converts to accommodate either 1 or 2 guests), a 2-seater sofa and extra seating furniture, a 55 inch smart TV with Netflix & a dvd player. A 20sq.m. terrace area extends outside the sitting room, with dining seating for al fresco dining.
Outdoors, there are plenty of possibilities for relaxing. Further to the sunbeds by the pool, there is a shaded lounge area, while across the pool there is a covered area with built-in bbq facilities, woodburning oven & dining seating. The garden is neat and well-structured, with grass all around the villa and it includes two swings and a slide for our little friends, and an outdoor gym for adults (pull up system station with climbing rope & wood rings).

The villa is located within a very large, flat olive grove in the suburbs of Lefkada town, an area full of plains with rich vegetation and scattered houses, a perfect location for walking or using the two bicycles offered. Villa Arenaria is also very close to Agios Ioannis sandy beach and Lefkada town, making it convenient for our guests to reach the beach on foot (800m) and the town within just a few minutes drive or walk or bike (900m). A minimarket is only 200m away from the villa.

There is central a/c and also underfloor cooling and heating throughout the villa. We offer complimentary wifi internet connection. There is plenty of parking space for up to 3 cars.

Villa as described. Lovely large pool. Good central location. Very generous and considerate food and drink provided on arrival. The owners are lovely people and willing to go the extra mile if needed. For example there was a problem with the kettle and this was resolved within an hour.

Idyllic Villa Arenaria

We returned home a few days ago after spending two lovely and relaxing weeks at Villa Arenaria. The villa is very comfortable and homely with everything one needs including pantry items, toilet paper, shampoos, hand wash and many other items The photos on the website do not do the villa or the garden justice.. The pool is large and clean with lots of mature trees surrounding it, The pergola/large seating area is amazing and such a relaxing place to sit/lie and relaxing reading a book. At night the garden looked magical with all the twinkling lights. Argie, the owner was a delight to deal with, very helpful and at the end of the phone if needed and making sure that all was well with everything. Thank you Argie for everything and taking and showing us the sights and sounds of Lefkada town and supermarkets. You are a star.... Lefkada town itself is well worth visiting, especially in the evening to watch the sunset which was beautiful..a sight not to be missed. The bikes loaned to us by Argie were an added bonus and which we used daily to get around. All our needs were met staying in the villa and we cannot fault anything. Thank you Argie for being so welcoming and hospitable and also thank you to Elena for all her communications with us when booking the villa. Many, many thanks..... Brenda and Wilf. Great looking villa, comfortable and private in a lush garden with flowering trees and a nice pool

We booked the villa for a month in April and were pleasantly surprised to discover that the villa in reality is more beautiful than expected. The weather was sunny and mild and we were able to explore the island and its beaches every day. The villa is suitable for a family of up to 6 people with everything you may need on a vacation. It was our first time renting a villa and we had no expectations. The owners , young and friendly couple treated us like old friends. The fridge was stocked with basic food items, mulk, juice, bread, chease, salami , jam and fruit. It was a nice surprise after a long trip. On Easter, we received traditional colored eggs and cookies. Argie and Kostas treated us like family and made our vacation very special. The cleaning lady came 2x a week to change towels and sheets. She was very thorough and the house smelled fresh and clean. In short, we got spoiled for a month. We booked a cruise from Nidri to some of the other islands for a day, which was imformative, but too time consuming. Our favorite beach was Kathisma beach, only 20 minutes from the villa. The closest beach is also very nice, but best can be reached by car or bike. Most of the restaurants by the marine have fresh salads and seafood. For groceries, we used Lydl store, 10 minutes by car toward the town of Nidri. In case you have any questions or desires, just ask Argie. She is outspoken and full of information and solutions. We had a great time and recommend the villa to anyone who needs a relaxing place in the heart of Lefkada. Learn some Greek, its an exotic language. The locals are very friendly and most of them speak English. Have fun!
