Overall for the cost it was great to take a shower and have a bed to sleep in. 👍 from me!

They are currently remodeling, the rooms look nice and are clean.

I liked that there was a restaurant attached, but didn't like that the internet was extremely slow.

The guy from desk was a nice person.. the room wasn't clean but good enough for spend quick days.. they must do better clean services..

Property was damaged in hurricane and is under renovation. The room was supposed to newly refurbished but was in poor condition, the tub and shower paint peeling.

Near a truck stop, so noisy. Internet connection did not work. Cheap stay, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I would stay again, clean, easy to get to, check in guy was very nice

This is a Motel 6 which is a short distance from both The Villages and the Crystal River/Nature Coast area, but seems to be frequented by work crews and truckers. It's because the motel is at the confluence of I-75 and the Florida Turnpike and in a major truck stop area. While the motel staff is excellent and the room was very clean (love the vinyl "wood" floor, which is so much more sanitary), the motel's location was not very relaxing. There were noisy truck facilities which opened early and the work crews would stay up late, hanging out on the balconies, loudly talking. Still, I was able to sleep well during the four nights I spent here because the bedding was good. If you want a good, inexpensive place to stay in the area this is hard to beat but if you want a resort-style stay it's best to go further west to Crystal River and the towns around there.

We stayed overnight, arriving late and leaving early. The mattresses were so so firm. They were pretty uncomfortable, but I still slept OK - not a lot of tossing and turning.

Room was nasty. carpet waa nasty, we went to go eat when we got back the ac was not working. Never will i stay here again

Had roaches nasty carpet crack heads trying to sell stolen stereos

I was very disappointed with my stay at Motel 6 in Wildwood. Our first room had a pack of cigarettes and a toothbrush in the bathroom (non-smoking room), a light that didn't work, and cockroaches crawling around the room and on one of the beds, and the room had overall dirty appearance. We notified the front desk and were given a second room. This room didn't have cockroaches or anything in the trash can but was equally if not more filthy. The only thing missing was a foul odor in the room,at least the air seemed safe to breathe. The toilet seat and shower curtain were stained badly and should've been replaced a long time ago. The walls had dark splatter of some sort of "spill" (even midway up the walls), the tub had visible dark streaks of dirt, it was really disgusting. The following morning just as we were leaving the room a man knocked saying "housekeeping" and we notified him that we were in fact checking out. Sad thing, he didn't have a cart or any sort of cleaning supplies that would actually be needed to clean the room or change the sheets. After seeing not one but two rooms at this hotel I will never stay at another Motel 6 and quite frankly would like a refund. Being that I booked through Orbitz I don't think that would be possible, and it's not Orbitz's fault but I think it should be removed from their site. Hopefully my review will help someone else avoid a nightmare!

Nothing outstanding about it. My only complaint is not all the lights worked.
