Our room was nice and comfortable. We stayed there 2 nights. Our room was right across from housekeeping which was obviously noisy but then housekeeping knocked and entered our room at 830am! Why so early when check out is 11? We went to breakfast at 905 which was posted to be open till 930, most things were gone so we asked for some more muffins and the lady said she was done making breakfast. At 920 she asked her supervisor if she could start wrapping up and she got the ok even though she obviously stopped before 905. I'm sorry if your sign says your serving breakfast till 930, I expect all food to be available till 930.
This hotel is undergoing Construction. It is almost over however. The new Decor looks great everything is very modern and clean. I had a very quiet comfortable safe night here. The facilities are almost done. There is a pool. When I stayed there wasn't a fitness center but it was undergoing construction. Now for the real gem, the staff. When I checked in, despite a line, it was done quickly and efficiently but I didn't feel rushed at all. I asked about the chicken place across the street and got a great review and recommendation. The next morning the power to the business center was out, so the desk staff allowed me to use theirs to print something, I didn't have to ask, she offered. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and attentive. I know this sounds like a cliche, but this was more like staying in someone's house than a hotel. (A house that charges you 125 bucks to stay there, but still...) I will definitely stay here again.
They are currently undergoing renovations....but no problem. they have a deal with the Hampton to use the work out and pool. Nice, accommodating staff. I would stay here again. It was quiet and beds were comfy
Great experience at the HI Express Lebanon. From the greeting at the front desk to the CLEAN spacious room we are highly satisfied with our stay. My husband plays the Bluegrass Festival in a nearby town and we will now make this our yearly stop. My favorite part is the super comfortable bed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay we will be back!!
I booked this hotel via their direct website. Nowhere on there website did it say that they were undergoing renovations. My room was on the 3rd floor. There was no carpeting in the hallway and the carpet tack strips (from the old carpet) were still there, with exposed nails. Just bare concrete (and concrete dust) on the floor. My room only had a desk lamp. And the desk lamp was from the old style room and didn't have a wall socket by the desk. I had to wrap the cord around the front of the desk, and plug it in by the TV. When I called the front desk to request a bed lamp, I was told they weren't in yet. But there was a hole in the headboard, ready for installation. The room was non-refundable type of charge, so I was stuck for the night. I couldn't find contact info for the manager/owner, so I contacted IHG. They forwarded my complaints (and photos) to the hotel, and told me someone from the hotel would contact me within 48 hours. Five days later, with no hotel contact, I responded to the IHG email. They promised that someone from the hotel would be in contact within the next 24 hours. One week later, I'm still waiting. I worked in the meeting planner industry for 25 years and completely understand that hotels need to renovate. However, they SHOULD only do one floor at a time, and not put guests in rooms that are not finished. So very disappointed. I could have stayed at a comparable property nearby for the $140 I spent at the Holiday Inn Express in Lebanon. They wouldn't post my review and pics on their website because I mentioned a competitor's name in my review. I couldn't get access to my original review to edit it.
The hotel is under complete remodeling. Even so, was not a hassle. Stayed in an updated room which was very spacious. Workers quit about 7 pm. Easy on and off interstate. Only negative was breakfast was cold.
Let me just tell you that the ladies at this hotel really know how to make a guest have a great experience. They may be the greatest hotel workers in the world. I'm glad I chose this hotel over the Hampton across the street. I broke down on the side of the interstate last night, and finally made it to this hotel. I have had the worst luck my entire trip, and these ladies Bambie and Stacia turned my whole depressed mentality around. It is stressful dealing with every thing that comes along with unexpected car trouble in an unknown place, and they made it not so bad. They are a shining example that there are still kind, giving, caring, people in this world. Whoever is the district manager of these ladies needs to know they deserve awards, and a raise too. Thank you so much, for giving me a home away from home in my time of need. I guess I should also mention how nice my room was, and how my bed was super comfortable also. 100 stars, if I'm ever stranded in Lebanon Mo again, I'll make my way over to this hotel.
After visiting family over Thanksgiving week, my daughter and I stopped in Lebanon, MO at the Holiday Inn Express. We did not know the area, and chose it because it was a well-known chain. My grandchildren contracted head lice from the rooms there. It had to be from that night because of the size of the lice and the lack of eggs. They had not been around other children for over a week. The rooms were filthy with fuzzy dust growing in the heating vents, hair on the bathroom floors, dirty carpet and a heavy odor of deodorizer. When I called to complain, I was told they were in the process of changing all their pillows. However, the Manager was extremely rude and refused to offer any kind of compensation for our stress and the expense of lice treatment.
We stopped again and are not sorry. They do everything right. Special thanks for the warm wonderful pool and great breakfast. This location does not have a hot tub but the pool is so warm you don't miss the hot tub.
This hotel stay was typical of most Holiday Inn stays. However, this hotel is adjacent to a truck stop, so if you are a very light sleeper, this one may not be for you. Semis running all night, just over the metal fence is a little annoying. A little difficult getting in and out of the hotel, due to a strange interchange. Staff was very courteous, but a few slight problems, such as repair work dust not cleaned up overnight, and the lock on the back entrance was broke so anyone could just walk in. Probably will not plan on staying here again.
