We had a family reunion over the New Year and comfortably slept 17 people. The entertaining space was perfect with incredible views! We spent two days skiing at Terry Peak which was only 8min away. The house was beautiful, kitchen was generously stocked with all you need for cooking, the heated garage was great for a bags tournament and the spa was large and easy to manage! Highly recommend and would book again!

This was a family reunion to celebrate our 50th anniversary.Everyone enjoyed this vacation and the house was a large part of it.

Plenty of room and the kids had so much to do in the house, they never wanted to leave. Hot tub, garage, driveway games you name it it was so fun! Probably the best view of the Black Hills in the neighborhood as well!If we come back we will be staying here for sure!

That View Though!!!

My family and friends had a great spring break vacation in this home! We had all the room we needed and more. Location was perfect for snowmobiling and skiing. Cab ride to Deadwood was super handy. Highly recommend this home.

We loved this home. Loved the garage extra space, the extra refrig in garage and beverage fridge in basement. Loved the hot tub. Wonderful.

Everything worked great and it was easy it get to the trails and into town. My one complaint would be that it seemed like the hot water shut off on the one side of the house around 10pm. After getting out of the hot tub at night and wanting to rinse off of you were on the kitchen side of the house you would rinse off using very cold water.

Family summer get together

Perfect for family get together. Bed rooms allowed for privacy. We could gather in the big rooms for meals and entertainment. Even with the 20 people gathered there noise level wasn’t too confusing The deck area was so enjoyable especially in morning and evening. Enjoyed watching a little bit of wild life too. WE appreciated big driveway and garage. We had 7 cars, 3 trailers and side by sides and no problems. Enjoyed using Club house pool and game room. The only reason I gave 4 stars on communication with VRBO was I just would like to have known when they received my ID info and agreement. They were easy to work with, sent great directions and info

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful get away for a belated family Christmas. Home was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room, and activities to do in the house, and close by. We had children, so we enjoyed sledding, skiing, and snowmobiling. Hot tub was also a fun activity. We made all of our meals there, nice kitchen. We could never get the coffee maker to work correctly. And we are a big coffee drinking crew. So we went and bought pods as there is a drip and pod coffee maker there. I would bring pods, the drip coffee maker we could never get to work properly. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Summit on Dancing Sky has stunning views and is in a beautiful location. We met for a large family gathering over Thanksgiving so naturally there was a lot of cooking involved. With that said, though the kitchen has nice appliances, they are very sparse for hosting a large group. Food storage containers, ziplock bags, tin foil, ect would be nice to have on hand. We also found tp, paper towels, trash bags, ect were not sufficient for a large group. Hangers in the closets, more coat hangers in the mudroom/garage and towel hooks by the sliding door going out to the hot tub is a must as we had no where to hang/dry used towels. Simple amenities as the ones suggested above would make this place a regular large family gathering. Everything else was wonderful.

Bedrooms are large and separated in a way everyone feels they have their own space. Location is Perfect! Away from the hustle and bustle. Lots of Privacy. Distance between Mt. Rushmore and Custer about 1 hour. Definitely Recommend. Management team excellent.

The beds were super comfy, ample parking space for our trailers, house has a great layout and amazing space for groups. We’ve stayed in other houses we’ve rented from Black Hillls Adventure Lodging and they are AMAZING to work with, so helpful and friendly. And whoever their house cleaning crew is does top notch work because the houses are always absolutely spotless. We would definitely rent this house again and will be renting from Black Hills Adventure Lodging again!
