I was put in the attic. I was on the 5th floor but than I had to climb a flight of stairs with my suitcase.The room was nothing like advertised. A low ceiling that I could touch with my hand and only one small window to the left over the top of the stairs.I had a view of the sky and that was all. It was very claustrophobic.The constant droning noise of the lift everytime it was used. Coffee stains in mug ,dead fly in salad bowl. Came back from a walk to find cleaning staff had left my door unlocked. No one at reception when I arrived and no one at reception when I went to check out. Left key on counter and left.

What i liked was the locations in the heart of Launceston, Close to cafe's, bars and shops and a great weekend market. Room was a very simple layout great size bedroom, lounge and kitchen area all separate. And i loved the bath and on arrival staff warm welcome. One thing ask for a room at back of hotel i had a roim room close to street can be a little noisy. Otherwise i would stay here again.

Great Location and Service, But Tired Facilities

I had a fine experience overall. The service was friendly, and I appreciated the ease of the late check-in. The location is convenient, but the facility is a bit tired, and the mattress in my room felt like it was nearing the end of its life. With some updates, this could be a much more comfortable stay.
