I did not hear from our host until I messaged them day of check in. Made the reservation on 2/28/26 am checked in on 4/16. The house is really nice. There are some defects that they should take care of. Such as the broken/damaged lounge chairs. The keurig machine did not work. It only brewed hot water and not coffee. We had to open the k pods and use the regular coffee machine. Which was not ideal and more work. The garbage can in the kitchen lid was broken, the outlet outside of the kitchen was broken and had a hole behind it. The light fixture above the ya le was broken. The master bedroom doors did not close all the way. There were iron burn marks on the carpet. Minor scuff marks and paint chipped on some of the walls. Screen door leading out of the kitchen to the pool was damaged. In my opinion I wished that the host would have reached out to introduce themselves prior to me reaching out almost two months after booking the reservation. To ask how do we go about gaining access to the home. I also felt as if the home was too nice to have all the little flaws. If they would address these minor flaws it would be great.
