To check into the hotel you need to go next door to a diner, the diner people were friendly but busy, so we had to wait for them to get freed up to help us. We had booked the room from the road and had selected two beds, when we got there the staff wanted to give us only one bed and offered to look for pullout bed or so, but they ended up setting us in two separate rooms that were next to each other but not connected. The staff blamed it on the websites that supposedly do not update. But this is the first that this has happened to us… we have used Expedia for years, honestly I did not believe the staff. The hallways and room had a strong smell of tobacco. Again, we reserved the room on the road and did not add the option to cancel, plus we were already tired from the long ride, so we had to stay there.
