I booked this property in February of 2026 for a stay in May and did not receive a message from the host until the end of April telling me it wasn't available for my May 15th-17th stay and it was going to be cancelled. They tried to tell me that Vrbo automatically booked it. At this time it was too late to find anything else. All the other properties were booked for that weekend. It was the graduation weekend for NMSU. If this property wasn't available, I don't understand how it let me select it and pay. This left us in a very bad bind. A week before my initial booking I kept getting text messages and emails about this property to log in and finish my check in, even though it was cancelled. This looks like a very nice house, but everything else was very unprofessional in my opinion from the host's poor lack of communication. They should have let me know the day it was booked that it wasn't available so I could have found something right away. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was just unacceptable to me.
