We arrived at night and since the sliding windows/doors were slightly open and we didn't think of closing them, listened to cocks singing and dogs barking during what was left of the night. Not unpleasant, just interesting. The breakfast was limited, but ok. I missed proper coffee though (only instant one there). The night we arrived the man in reception loaned us an adapted since we didn't have one with us. He just asked us to return it (which we did). Nothing was charged. The personnel in the reception varied. Some people were extremely polite and helpful, some maybe not that much. During our stay a small group of Russian speaking people arrived in the evening and they stayed drinking (and being loud) in front of the hotel till past midnight. Then they continued in the room next to us. The walls were very thin, but when people stayed on the verandah, the noise was even louder. I do understand that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of its visitors, but maybe some stricter rules should apply to nighttime drinking and noise. The location was very good: not too far from the centre or the beaches. The room itself looked tired, but for us this added some authenticity. Just the change of towels seemed a bit strange: where you place them has no effect on the cleaner. The towels were changed after the third day there.
Rooms very outraged, reception staff very friendly, kitchen only open between 7 and 9.30, so there is a notice in reception if cleaners find food in your room this will be confiscated and destroyed. If you want a fridge, you have to hire it. Pool area... disgusting, ripped and tattered parasoles, weeds growing up between paving slabs, week I was here pool was not cleaned of leaves, Owner most obnoxious person ever.... chilling in hotel bar with a drink watching English speaking films and he walks in pours himself a drink then changed channels Rooms are very very tired, that tired they practically dead. Hotel in good location though so we spent it out all day and back in afternoon to have a bit of a rest then out at night, this hotel has nothing at all going for it if you are not russian
hotel staff and location is good.could not sleep well as some guest were shouting at night.could hear the noise from the other rooms. the hotel is close to the airport .taxi takes 15 euros one way. v enjoyed the dinner which was at the other hotel, free taxi was provided.
photos of the rooms look untrue. everything is in a terrible state, the lockers and nightstands are falling apart. black dirt poured from the air conditioner. the floors are dirty, the towels are also washed like rags. instead of blue it was black towels. every day there was a stink in the corridors of the hotel. Internet in the hotel is paid (at the reception free of charge, and in the rooms for a fee), and all who need internet, sit in the corridor at the reception, instead of their rooms. just wonderful rest! at the reception sits Russian rude, who does not know how to talk with clients. I do not understand how you got 3 stars? we will not return here and do not advise anyone!
I stayed for 4 nights between 22-26 January. You can see my first impression in the photo attached (I had to move the bed to avoid to fall pieces of the ceiling over me). The furniture is old and in bad condition. No clean towels in 4 days. The TV is very small (20 inches I think) and very old, with only 20 channels and only one Eghlish language channel (russia today :~). The walls are thins, you can hear everything happens in the next room. The worst experience was when one night I was woken up by a strange noise at 2 AM, it was the air conditioner of the room next to mine. The AC started and stopped every minute and started vibrating all the wall, it was very loud. After a few minutes a went down to the reception and asked the receptionist to do something, after a few minutes I had to go down again because nothing happened. The receptionist told me that he cannot wake up the neighbors and he told me to go and wake up them if I want (so he will not do anything). For me this meant that the other guests were more important for the hotel then me, I was not able to sleep for a few more hours. Bonus: There is no free WIFI in the rooms, you have to pay extra for wifi in 2018 :))
Nice place bit old and dated, staff all friendly and helpful with the exception of the lady with short brown hair on breakfast duty out of our 11 mornings she was there 10 scowling tutting and unresponsive to any thank you we gave, when there was no milk we requested some and you would have thought we asked for one of her organs!! She was that bad, breakfast ok but the toaster is worst in world, if you want 5 star dont come here, but prepare to pay for it, good value for the money we paid, and would return
Location of the hotel is near the airport - 10 minutes by car. 20 minutes from hotel to city center by foot. Makenzy beach is near too. Good breakfast. Clean room, but 3 days they never changed the towels.
I've stayed here for 3 nightS during a short vacation in november. IT is located very close to THE SEA (5 minutes). The staff is super accommodating. The room was not always cleaned thoroughly during the stay and the ceiling wall was paint falling but only to sleep was good because all day long we were out in visiting. Wi-fi is free only in lobby, abnd breakfast is same all days but enought . This was a great hotel, especially for the price and location.
I have stayed in lots of hotels and this is the worst I have stayed in the breakfast was the same every day (no cooked breakfast) the bed sheets was changed once a week if you ask them to be changed them, and when we first came to the hotel there was no welcome the pool was not clean and the aircon did not work correctly, you have to pay for the Wi-Fi and the signal is not that good and when we had our evening meal we had to wait for a shuttle to take us to another hotel and the food was not that good quality, The parking is only street parking the hotel has no carpark facility, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone it's not good value for money, don't waste your money, the only good points about the hotel is that the beach, restaurants and airport is local.
The hotel is a short walk from the drop off stop of bus 425 from the airport. I was early but, as soon as my room was serviced, I was checked in. Room 217 was spacious with ensuite show/bath and with a balcony with 2 chairs and table and a limited view of the sea. The hotel has a outside pool where you can cool off. They are many sun beds, tables and chairs. There is a gym with several exercise machines, with weights, which look out to the pool area. There are tables and chairs to the front of the hotel. The hotel is a short walk to the promenade, which leads into town with an array of restaurants and bars. Throughout my stay the receptionist, Laura, was helpful and informative. Even when she was serving at the bar, in addition to being receptionist, she went about her duties with a smile.
