I stayed in this hotel with a friend for two nights. Our room was in newly refurbished, and was very clean and modern. Great staff at reception especially Nicola who was very helpful and friendly and organised a massage appointment for me. Ate in the bar on first night. I had the most delicious steak sandwich.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions. Food is fantastic and staff are very attentive. Menu has a wide variety of choices. Suitable for dinner or lunch or just a coffee. Overall would high recommend.

The hotel was very modern and clean. the staff were exceptionally nice and efficient. We ate in the bar where there was music in the afternoon. The food was excellent and again the staff were very friendly. Our 3 girls enjoyed the swimming pool. The only thing to note was there was no kids club. We will definitely be back!

My son and I stayed here as a base to visit family. It is a lovely hotel, very clean, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and it's well located. The fitness classes are amazing! I contacted reception prior to our stay and booked into 2 of the classes; les mills grit and a spin class. The Instructors were knowledgeable and very motivated and the gym was well stocked. We will definetly visit again.

Pros: Nice reception Lovely staff Cons: Very basic swimming pool and “leisure centre” Overpriced restaurant with disappointing food Basic rooms with cramped bathroom This hotel feels like it may be trying to become a four star, but it is just not there yet. It is not too much better than a standard Holiday Inn.

I have never disliked a hotel before. The staff and food were lovely. However, the corridor noise continued until midnight and resumed on a Sunday morning at 06.30.A bus load of noisy drunk party goers left at 04.30 (bus parked below room). I thought only residents could stay in a hotel after 01.00?? The room was too warm with no way to adjust temperature. The TV was too small with just 3 channels. I would accept this for reasonable price but currently at next hotel in road trip which is £28 a night CHEAPER includes breakfast for 3 and in a better area.

We enjoy going to the Coffee Dock after a morning of swimming. Kasia the Barista at Coffee Dock is very welcoming and friendly. We enjoy the good coffee and toasted sandwiches. The Leisure Centre is well kept and the staff members Roberto, Andrew, Melissa and Tom is always very friendly and helpful. We wish Melissa al the best on her upcoming marriage.

The rooms , food and facilities are excellent very close to the town and a lot of local attractions the one thing that sets this place apart is the staff so happy and friendly really great spot to stay !!!

having had two not great eating experiences here previously i was cajoled into having a third attempt. The only reason i had eaten here at all was becdause we were booked in and it was handy. Attempt 1 was a simple toasted sandwich, nothing special.Nothing special indeed. it arrived cold as you like, ham onion and unmelted cheese between toasted bread! wow. I was starving however so it was eaten Attempt 2. Another toastie. I specifficaly asked for the sandwich to be cooked and hot in the middle. this was written down, but went unheeded. it arrived cold. I left it uneaten and when the waitress arrived i told her to return it to the kitchen as it was cold. half an hour later no sign of my sandwich. upon enquiring i was informed that she didnt realize i wanted it replaced. Then she attempted to charge me for it, not good. not good at all. Attempt 3 the final fronteer. Toasted sandwich was no longer an option. sunday soup and roast. now i will say the roast lamb was nice, however it did not justify a 22 minute wait for the soup to arrive. i had to go looking for a staff member to enquire about my soup and met a waiter coming with my lamb. a mix up i was informed. i had to insist he left the lamb on my table as i feared i wouldnt see it again if it went away. All in all my time is now too precious to be wasting here and i wont bother with the bar food here. The hotel is grand and staff are nice but the bar food is just not worth the aggrivation

My Wife, daughter and I stopped here to day. Before we went we phoned ahead to ensure that bar food was available, which it was. The receptionist was so helpful. Upon arrival a friendly welcome from the bar servers. We all ate well, very pleased with the value. Will certainly call again and well recommended.
