Stayed one night in this hotel recently, with my two children. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and of a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The room was overlooking the road and so was a little noisy. I would request a room at the back of the hotel if i was staying here again. The food let the hotel down, both dinner and breakfast, although plentiful was only about average.

I won't be back here again. Breakfast was lovely but that's as far as the compliments go. Phone in room not working. Also two room service menus in room but when we phoned down for room service we were told that there is no room service!! While it is only a 3 star hotel you would expect a bit better.

3 Weeks ago we decided at the last minute to stay here as weater wasnt good and was dark . We checked in which was pleasant and our room was fine and spacious and clean and fine bathroom . We then went to get a drink and someting to eat . We were greeted by a gentleman in a suit too big for him who was arrogant to put it mildly and just wasnt bothered as everything we asked for was a problem and then eyes rolling to the sky . Mr Mc Cann would be better off if he spent some of his 420k bonus or hiring proper people that do want to work !!

Well we came back here again for new years eve for lunch and they have a great special on where for every adult kids under the age of 12 eat for free. So we were a family of 5 so only had to pay for 3 adult main courses and the 2 children under 12 ate free. They wanted ice cream so bought 3 for 4 euro each. It was tasty. Turkey and Ham were the main choices really. The chicken with wrapped bacon was nice too only they had spiced vegs and over the roasted potatoes. Most people would love this only I am a plain food eater so would have preferred the choice really. We got a good table most of it was booked for later so lucky enough but a popular place to eat in . they got in a new flat screen tv only the place where my husband sat he could not see it as it was sitting in a triangle corner so look out for it when you do go in if you want to watch something.

Stayed for a night with my wife and kids and my mam and dad ...hotel.is quiet and cosy but i have to say bar man on shift small man with big attitude is horrible and talks to.people like dirth and also may i say the lad in the pool jesus im.supprised he alhas a job at .rude horrible human man that seems to.hate kids having fum in the pool

Stayed here 2nd Jan for just 1 night with family, easily booked direct on line on New Year’s Eve and still a great price, fast check-in, up to the room and back to the pool with dearest daughter. Lovely clean common areas, spotless clean pool with some flotation devices for the kids, clean towels, clean spacious bedrooms, good beds, powershower, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, iron and a safe. Food court next door has a good choice of noodles, Subway, coffee and sandwich bar. Relaxed over a drink in the restaurant bar before ordering a taxi into town, about 6-7 min spin for €8 ish, you could walk it in about 30 mins maybe but it’s a footpath along a very busy main road but that doesn’t affect the hotel in any way. Breakfast in the mornings is a selection of pastries, cereal and breads, hot counter with sausage, bacon, mushrooms etc, tea, coffee and juices. Overall for the time we spent there I couldn’t find a fault, staff are chatty and friendly, free parking, free WiFi and I’d have no problem recommending it to family and friends.

Stayed for one night - New year's Day. Pleasant Hotel, comfortable room and the restaurant was lovely. Very noisy with parents sitting drinking in the bar whilst their kids ran amok through the lobby, corridors and lifts.. this went on all day - neither parents nor management seemed to have any issue with the behaviour. Then we have those who order pizzas in and sit in the bar and lobby eating, there is a food court next door with ample choice and plenty of seating. I certainly don't enjoy sitting in a hotel trying to enjoy a drink whilst those around me are eating carry out food from Subway or the noodle bar next door!! Think the manager needs to have a strict policy on consumption of food and drink! Perhaps a more rigid dress code would also work - kids in the lobby in dressing gowns and adults in pink fluffy slippers does not sell rooms. The staff are lovely, in particular the receptionist - who was a trainee and deserves a medal for her professional attitude, especially when kids are setting of alarms by opening fire doors. Restaurant Team were also excellent - I wouldn't be back simply because of the noise and lack of basic hotel etiquette. If you want peace and quiet - this is not the place to stay.

Stayed mid week the room was clean warm and had toiletries. Decent shower .good staff. The leisure centre has easy access from the hotel and I enjoyed my visit. Their is a food court next door with standard food available . I didn't have breakfast due to any early start. The hotel is a little to far out of town to walk but the hotel s location give easy access to the motorway .

was very pleased to receive a personal welcome by Therese at reception tonight on arrival. This hotel has upped it's game considerably in the last 12 months and is well established on my radar. Nice rooms, spotlessly clean bathrooms, decent big beds and rooms at the right temperature make this a good stay for me when working in the midlands area of Ireland. Another plus is easy parking right out front as I cant be having the hassle of car parks you have to pay for but that are not owned by the hotel. Food below in the adjacent restaurant is of a very high standard and I can recommend the Caesar salad, the chicken wings and the steak. For it's price bracket this hotel punches way above it's weight

five of us stayed here overnight when getting coach at 5 am next morn to Manchester so didn't have breakfast .We had dinner in the bar which was very good .Burgers were excellent .Very enjoyable meal n few drinks .The service was very good lady who served us was friendly n helpful .Our rooms were spotless .
