Here at time of review. After reading reviews wasnt expecting much wasn't expecting anything to fancy. Pool is clean, drinks are fine and room was okay. It's a 3* and that's what we expected. This hotel lacks basics and a kettle in my opinion is a basic however you have to give a deposit of €10 then a further €8. A lot of the sun beds are severely damaged and aren't usable. There aren't parasol however there are places with shade. My biggest problem was that on our final night and we were leaving early hours was that we went out and came back to money taken. Unfortunately we didn't go for a safe as the door to the safe had fell of the hinge and we wrongly presumed hiding it well we would be okay. I reported the theft to the reception and the response was it's not our problem go the police station. This is pointless as we're leaving in 9 hours and nothing will be done between now and then.

Having read the reviews we weren't expecting anything great but were pleasantly surprised. We were allocated a room on the ground floor which is actually below street level and although the room was more than adequate we decided to pay to get a room with a sea view and a private balcony rather than a terrace. The apartment we had was very big and although basic and dated was clean. Some of the reviews about the food are right there is only one choice of meat and fish but there was also pasta, salad, soup and plenty of fresh fruit and deserts. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful especially Maria the housekeeper who helped us find a different room. The pool area is nice but windy because of the location and the weather and I would agree that the sunbeds could do with replacing. We did not hear of any break ins while we were there but we always get a safe no matter where we go this cost us 20 Euros with a 10 Euro refundable deposit. Yes it is up a hill but so is a lot of the accommodation in Puerto del Carmen. We walked down most days and got a taxi back costing about 2.90 Euros. We also got a taxi to and from the airport only 20 Euros including tip each way. We also got the bus to Costa Teguise, Arrecife and Playa Blanca from the stop just down the hill slightly. Bus to Playa Blance only 2.75 Euros one way and takes you through the wine growing area and along the edge of the national park and the lava fields. We would definitely go back if the price is right, this time we booked our flights seperately and the hotel direct with the hotel's own website and got the best deal.

Travel agents desk was not open when arrived could not find any body to help had to phone for help the agent gave the shuttle bus. When We got to the To the hotel the person on the desk wanted 30 Euro for drinks with are meals which was not explained even though I had booked Half board did not think we would need to pay for a cup of coffee with our breakfast, we did pay but the man was very rude and started to get irritated. When we got to the room we found no complement soaps or shower gel which we we found in all other place we have stayed at. Paid for a tv which did not work went to the desk the man said he would send the maintenance man he came said he couldn’t fix it phoned to desk he said he would give me a new one this took 4 days. The shower was terrible the water was boiling hot or freezing cold could not get it to a regulate it. in addition when it did rain it came though the door again went to the desk he said he could not do anything although it was a health and safety issue. Food was average, 3 days straight of pork would recommend eating else where. Stay else where too!

This is not a hotel to go to, if you are not very good on your legs, as there is a lot of stairs to get anywhere within the hotel. There is a notice at the bar stating only two drinks at anyone time, yet they allowed some stag groups to line drinks up on a table. Trouble kicked off early hours by the pool bar causing a young lady to get hurt and dislocating her knee due to no fault of hers. This guy was allowed to stay in the hotel ........ why I don't know, i feel he should have been ask to leave. In general the hotel rooms are very dated and run down. At lunch time you could not get a hot drink as these machines were covered over, even if you were all inclusive. A list of all the guest was just left at the entrance of the dinning room and nobody checked guests off as they went in. It would have been nice to have hot food hot !!!!!

For a 3 star hotel lacks basics ie daily cleaning air con clean towels. If anyone has any mobilty problems at all this is not 4 you infact whole Peurto del Carmen avoid very steep roads steps everywhere even main strip up and down stairs to get to what you want & at Hotel you go down a flight of stairs to room then up 2 flights to pool then one flight down under the tunnel and up another flight to restaurant or reception. Hotel only friendly staff was Micheal entertainments guy and very basic programme advise have a couple of drinks and get a taxi out. Food like a canteen infact had better at my works canteen not a lot of choice very greasy and 2nd star rating you wont starve but dont expect anything worth eating chips with everything no mash or boiled potatos at all. Drinks cheap brands and no proper juice to mix that cheap very sweet cordial stuff. A young girl got injuried by a male in the bar night before we arrived ended up on crutches with discolated knee he was left in hotel ??? 2 rooms where robbed while we were there deffo have safe and put everything in it door and window locks very flimsy and easily pushed open alot of rooms at back very vuneerable. We went as 2 couples and made the most of it but we did go out everynight and a couple of days so didnt stay at hotel very much. We would say we had a gr8 time but deffo wont be back to this hotel ever.

This place has a singular lack of class. Even the photo used in this post is old. Umbrellas are not allowed anymore and that blue stuff has gone, the sun terrace around the pool is where all the wind arrives, it's like lying in a hurricane. It's all smoke and mirrors with an awful lot of stairs to climb. Coffee and tea are not available all day. They are so mean that you have to pay to watch the telly! The paid for Wi Fi is not up to standard, being available only outside our "studio" room. The food is palatable but unexciting, we didn't come down with anything which is an upside. I suppose what sums this place up is that they don't care that guests are drinking undiluted syrup instead of orange juice. Beds are basic but the bedding is horrible. I just wouldn't go there again.

Just come back on 24 April changed rooms for a bigger one no problem desk bloke very helpful think his name was Jesus couldn't help with weather food was good could do with more choice 2nd time been here in5 months you get what you pay for we'll be back again this year

This place takes the biscuit. Not three star more like one star hostal. The manager and most of her team do not understand or want to understand the meaning of the word "Service". Worn out, dirty, damp, smelly and cheap. During our stay our room was flooded during a rain storm, having made a complaint I was told the weather was to blame, nothing to do with a non weather proof room. Six rooms were burgled during the first week of our stay, on expressing my concern I was told that drunken guests were inviting stranger's into their rooms causing the theft's. When we asked to be moved to another room we were told the hotel was busy. I registered a complaint during our stay at the hotel in January to Blue Seas Hotels, I am still waiting for an explanation and apology. If the directors of this company would like to discuss this matter please contact your manager at Los Fiscos who will supply my email address. PS this manager stated she would not respond to Any further communication from myself. Take a tip, do not use this hotel.

I stayed here last week with a friend for 4 nights. We upgraded on the Easyjet website to all-inclusive- this cost us an additional £1.32 per day at the time of booking!! Our room was on the ground floor near to the reception area and was perfectly adequate for us. Check-in was quick and easy and our room was ready at 11.00. I feel that some of the other reviews on here are from people expecting 5* service from a 3* hotel. Our bedding and towels were changed once during our stay.Yes parts of the hotel look a bit tired and the food can be a bit 'samey' but it was perfectly edible. My only complaint would be that the pipes that the sangria came through at the bar need cleaning as it tasted funny from there.

Please do not book this hotel , it is so run down. The rooms are damp and smell of stale smoke. We went all inclusive for a week on the 8th March 2018. We had to pay for a kettle, pool towels plus TV. Our room was never cleaned even though my husband visited reception every day to ask for clean towels and to change the bedding. There was no plug for the bath that was advertised and no tap on the bath. We had ants around the plug sockets in the kitchen area. The food was disgusting, although you could get a decent breakfast. There is no warm indoor area to have a drink on a evening, you are expected to sit around the pool bar with your drink in small plastic cups. My husband asked for an ashtray and was given a plastic cup with an inch of water in. There was no entertainment on. We would not recommend this hotel.
