Dated, filthy and run down, this hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in, staff rude and didn't want to be annoyed about anything, before I went to this hotel I had read a lot of negative reviews, and I have to agree with them all, All inclusive package is terrible, there snacks is a ham and cheese sandwich wrapped in cling film, food in the restaurant was nice, but u can only get coffee or tea at breakfast time, TV had to be paid for nightly and it didn't even work right, no one in reception knows what the other is doing and they all give different information to the guests. We had to buy insect repellent for the room, as the gap under both doors was extremely large and everything came in under, this is a place not to stay, take heed of the reviews, I know I will in future.
I stayed here this month but was very disappointed with the hotel and its amenities. The dining room was too small for the number of guests. It got full up within about 10 mins of the start time for meals. So then you had to wait for tables to become free. Breakfasts were Ok but other meals were very basic , not much choice and chips every day. The pool area was very small with not enough beds. The hotel only had one bar which was outside by the pool. Which was not ideal in the rather chilly evenings.Drinks were sold in small plastic cups and very expensive. Only used the bar once in 4 weeks as drinks were much cheaper in bars nearby. My room was down loads of steps and was very basic.Shower curtain was black with mould. Also black mould around windows in the bedroom. You had to pay extra for the room safe, TV and Wi-Fi. You cannot leave the patio door open as loads of cats roaming around looking for food. Hard working friendly staff but not enough of them. Sometimes in the dining room you had 3 staff and sometimes only 1 to clear all the tables. The hotel was overbooked every day with many guests having to go to other hotels. I just wish I was sent somewhere else as I will never stay there again.
My boyfriend and I stayed here in October 2016 and had a wonderful time. After reading reviews we were apprehensive but presently surprised. We stayed all inclusive, in a lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the pool area always had loungers and space, our room was a nice size with everything we needed and staff were polite and helpful. Girly tip - as with most hotels there was no plugs in our room near a mirror so a travel mirror was a must. The food was as we read in reviews. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, the rest of the meals were a strange mixture but edable, we ate out most nights by choice anyway. Evening entertainment was a bit lacking if you're likely to stay in, but for €4 you can go to bars and restaurants along the seafront. Overall it was a fantastic holiday, and we feel we got what we paid for. We are heading back to Lanzarote in August and have booked to stay at the Blue Sea Los Fiscos again as bed and breakfast. I'm excited and counting down the days already!
Returned today after a week away here. Ok, it's in need of repair. All inclusive food average at best , but you expect that for the money. We had an apartment opposite which they call Europe. Moved to 4. Good sunny position with a pool on its own. There are a lot of apartments which don't get any sun. Beware. Also a haven for stray cats which seem well fed on the ham and cheese from the buffet ! Staff overworked. Not far to walk to the harbour and a taxi to new town is worth a try at 5 euro.
When booking this hotel I was aware that the rating was only a 2 star but wasn't quite expecting it to be primitive with the amenities. We were supplied with cutlery and crockery, cups and saucers but had to rent a kettle for 18 euros and a toaster, The pool bar was so expensive, they only sold lager in plastic very small glasses and expected 2.5 euros for it !!!!!!!!!! Working out about £6/7 a pint. The pool was freezing cold as they dont heat it, Evening entertainment was poor, Bingo every evening, a bird show and a reptile show. All instructions and map were in Spanish without an English translation. Would not recommend staying here.
just back from a weeks stay at this hotel room was a good size clean & comfortable we were all inclusive not a great choice of meals but they were hot and edible not a good place for the elderly as their is a lot of stairs to negotiate to get to some rooms we were in room 206 and had 6 flights to negotiate up and down not easy with suitcases the complex could put someone to help the elderly with their cases not a hotel if you are not prepared to walk as the town is a fair walk downhill from hotel also only one bar in complex at the pool drinks are in small plastic cups and could be expensive if not all inclusive otherwise a nice place to stay staff very helpfull
we have just returned from los fiscos having had a great holiday.our room was perfectly adequate for us with comfortable beds and very clean ,ample room and good sunny spot. the hotel is a good value for money place ,could benefit from a few repairs here and there but nothing really to moan about .Mainly catering for all inclusive ,however we stayed bed and breakfast and were not disappointed. One word of warning ,drinks are dispensed in small plastic cups and if your not all-in ,expensive .We didn't stay in much so this didn't really affect us ,preferring to walk down to the main strip to eat and drink .There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance and just down the hill behind spar there are some excellent places to eat and drink .All in all I would recommend los fiscos to most people ,maybe if you don't like walking go closer to the port etc but we enjoyed the walks .Playa chica is a small but lovely beach just away from the main beaches and worth a visit with a small restaurant that sells excellent food and a small café for ice creams etc We found many great places to eat and drink with lots of steak restaurants and Chinese restaurants you really are spoilt for choice
Stayed here in July 2016 for a week with family. The apartments are basic and what you would expect but they are clean and comfortable and the cleaners are in every day! The pool area is lovely and there is a lot of entertainment for kids especially running throughout the day and the night. The food was good, I am a fussy eater but I still managed to eat 3 meals a day. It's in a very good location, 10 minute walk to the shops/cafes/restaurants and about a 15/20 minute walk to the beach. There is a small cove beach or another few minutes walk and you are at the big main beach, both are good! Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.
Lovely stay at the Blue Sea Los Fiscos much better than anticipated after reading some of the previous reviews. Room was a good size and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool was a good size and very clean ,the child's pool was a little on the small side. We can't comment on the food as we were room only
on arrival we were told that the hotel had had a flood this was rubbish they had over booked and we would have to go to another hotel for three days at reception we found three other couples that had been told the same as we were only there for one week we were not pleased but we were offered a meal before we were taken by taxi to next hotel however after visiting what they called the restaurant we were glad that we were not really staying there for too long what a horrible place to sit and eat to food was rubbish too I have stayed in a lot of hotels and the food and ambience of this hotel was the pits and how lucky we where to be taken else where so at this stage we hadn't seen our room so on our return three days later we were told where our room/cell was I say cell because I think a prison cell would be much moor appealing than this room after we finally went upstairs downstairs and yet up moor stairs and on the stairs to our so called apartment there was a dead lizard that stayed there for the next two days so cleaning is not ans important part of this hotel
