honestly i went to 4 cities in malaysia and i spend there 16 days 15 nights , in those 4 cities i checked in and stayed at 6 hotels 3 of those hotels were in 1 city (kuala lambur) and the others 3 were in 3 cities ( langkawi , penang , Cameron Highlands And honestly this is the worst hotel i chacked in in malaysia (langkawi villa ombak)

I had booked the Ombak Suite for a family vacation with high expectations but the service we got was not at all satisfactory. Reception staffs were not that friendly, room were kinda smelly and the bed sheet and pillow had an unpleasant smell. At check-out time we had to wait at least 40 mins for the buggies to arrive to take our luggage.

Stayed for 6 Nights / 7 Days Requested a shuttle in advance via e-mail which did not show. E-mail communication was not clear and I had to resend e-mails to get my questions answered. When we arrived they had placed us in the old part of this resort which was not what the pictures had shown. This was not what we had confirmed and even the Manger was confused as why we had been booked in the older side. This was corrected the next day The side of the resort that we stayed in was the new Villa's that opened this October and is what you tend to see online. Beach is not good for swimming as there is a huge break wall in that area but the resort offers a free shuttle to the Cenang Beach which is amazing. Staff where novice and very new and most tired hard so you had to find the ones that knew what was going on. A lot of little details where missed by most staff even when you would inform them ie. “The garbage can by the pool is full”, it was not corrected. Management was better when present. Food was good and always served fresh, large breakfast buffet with lots to choose from. Very quite & they do not serve alcohol. We had chosen another resort but ended up staying here. I would not go back given the choose.
