Thanks Mrs. Aimy Ibrahim, the Sales Manager who really work the things out smoothly for our team to stay there. I'm not expecting at all a beautiful arrangement for our group dinner. Your staff either the receptionist, housekeeping staff and technician who support our program and stay were very very good. I love the room so much and plan to come back with my family for sure. I have a long list to share, the room, the environment, pool and beachfront deserve a thumbs up. Our management team was so happy this round retreat and we are glad your venue play a huge part in making thing success. I can see your staff is really taking care the facility very well, the hospitality is great. We enjoy the 3 days stay!

I stayed in a triple room as a family of 3 and it is definitely very spacious. We got a room on the ground floor, so we had two exits - the front door and the balcony door which led to the lagoon. Our room was also near the Amai bistro, where we had a steamboat dinner on our last night. It was a short drive from the airport, and there was plenty of parking space (free) in the carpark. Reception was pretty smooth when we arrived, and we were served some drinks while waiting to be checked in. After checking in, we were whisked away on the buggy to our room on the ground floor. The room was clean, tidy and very spacious. The bathroom was also nice and spacious, with both a shower and a bathtub. Breakfast served was buffet-style, and there was quite a huge variety of food, with plenty of space for dining. Overall, the whole hotel grounds was well-kept, including the grass and plants. You could also catch the sunset from the lagoon, which was really beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here as it was really worth it in all aspects.

The triple suite room is very spacious for a family of 3, even the toilet/bathroom is spacious. A comfortable stay, surrounded with greenery, gym, with delicious cakes from the in-house small shop and wide spread of food for breakfast. Staff from reception to the waitress/waiters are very friendly and helpful. Downside: room needs more thorough cleaning even the room phone is filled with dirt/dust. Seaside is not meant for swimming at all and it is muddy water.

Hotel room in general is clean and nice with lovely beach view. Very good thing about it is that it's very close to the airport. Recipients are not that good and the price is above average, I guess I could say it's more than what I have been served with. Food is not really good and with very limited options. Breakfast is way below average and the staff are not friendly at all, for example when I asked about tea he said "it's over there, go get some" I was surprised with the behavior but I just kept silent. Most probably I will not go to this hotel again.

There was some strange ombak villas + langkawi lagoon resort branding cross-over going on. Speaking to locals it appears the two are under the same new management with the focus being upon the villas, to the detriment of the rest of the resort itself. This could be seen in the (more expensive) ombak villas themselves which were beautiful. However, a relative of mine stayed in the chalets on the water (with lagoon resort branding) and these were HORRIBLE and literally falling to pieces. Similar confusion was met with the facilities themselves. The swimming pool was great and staff friendly and helpful. Food options were okay. Beyond that there was nothing at all to do at the hotel, despite there being multiple facilities advertised as on the website and even shown on a langkawi lagoon resort map the staff offered us. The beach was closed, tennis courts closed, kids playground non-existent, beach volleyball area non-existent. No water sports. Gym was tiny and rather useless. In summary, despite the room being beautiful, the resort itself was not much of a resort experience. We chose it with those facilities in mind. Very disappointed, that money would have provided us with a full resort experience elsewhere.

First of all, there’s no swimmable beach and beer at this hotel. If that’s the main reason for going to Langkawi, you can skip the rest of the review. Hotel surrounding is nice with lots of greens and it’s very relaxing. And that about it, the rooms décor seem like it’s from the 80’s/90’s. Mini bar was empty, considering that there’s no shop nearby, that’s the lest they can do to improve the customer’s experience. The pillow in our room smelled musky and you can see cobweb around the rooms. Fruit basket was full of ants. And make sure you lock your valuable in the safe as the sliding doors can be easily opened by vibrating the them. Foods and pool, nothing to shout about. This hotel has potential and they need to improve or expand other facilities to make up for the missing beach. Langkawi supposed to be sun, sea and surf… all missing from this place…

The place has very good location as it is newrby the airport, and also good view. Go catch the sunset just by the shores or on your bed if you book the villa directly above the shores. Service is good with reliable shuttle service. Price can be a tad high but its worth the stay. (Y)

We stayed at Ombak Villa, Langkawi for three nights! Well I would say three nights is a duration which is surely very less for this resort! Amazing place, one of the heavenly places on earth! The resort is super clean, rooms are luxurious, very big washrooms with tub bath. The quality of everything justifies a 5 star property. There is an infinity pool with sparkling clean water. The resort is on the beach, so beach is easily accessible. There are many places in the resort to sit, relax, unwind and tranquil! There are bicycles on the resort on which you can roam around in and out of the resort, the car hiring facilities are very good. The food is amazing! Wifi speed is fab! Breakfast is superbly spread over three continents! Langkawi is such an amazing place and Ombak Villa is one of those superb resorts! I would stringly recommend this to everybody! Go and have a relaxing holiday!

We stayed at ombak villa for 3 nights and it was a pleasant stay. The balcony views from the top floor is amazing as you can see the sea view, the pools, park and other villas within the vicinity . The room was clean and a decent size. The bathroom was the highlight of the room as there is a bath and a walkin shower which is very spacious. Breakfast was amazing as there is a variety to choose from and food at the villas restaurant was scrumptious. Staff were always polite and friendly and helpful. We had a great stay at this hotel and we hope to visit in the near future. Thankyou all to the staff. From Iman Yafai and parents

We recently stayed in the honeymoon suite, (Seroja Suite) at the Ombak Villa. What can I say? I have travelled much of the globe and we visited Langkawi for a few nights and the honeymoon suite is perhaps the best room/suite we have ever stayed in. There was even a waterfall in the room! The huge four poster bed was exquisite and the pillows by far the most comfortable we have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. In the mornings, simply open the doors and you get an awesome view of the Andaman Sea The view from the room is stunning, the staff are very attentive and the evening BBQ is a real must. Having fresh lamb chops opposite the sea is a treat. I would strongly recommend this resort due to the location, its only 10-15 mins from Cenang Beach which is where all the shops are, and minutes away from the airport and also quite close to the cable cars. It’s very family friendly and also great for honeymooners. We will definitely be visiting Ombak Villa again and a special thanks to resort manager Mr Badrul who made us feel very much at home.
