I go with my fiend. This hotel is good location because there is facilities near the hotel. We see that the mosque was near and we just to walk. For the male that want to pray on friday, it can be easy because near the mosque and they do not have to find it. The jetty and Dataran Lang is a 5min drive or a 15min walk from the hotel. We stayed in a superior twin room with a single sized bed. The room was spacious. We can see that the room is clean and it show that this hotel care about customer and want the customer feel comfortable. The room is clean and I'm sure that they care about the cleanliness. It show that the housekeeping do their job and we also can see when they do occupied. The staff at hotel very friendly and respect each other. For the food provided very tasty. I advise to others to come this hotel.
I've been staying at the Eagle Bay hotel..this is my 2nd time to stay..the breakfast was good for the price.friends were very friendly and very helpful..have booked a family room..the room was very clean compared to the first time staying first.folding towel on my bed.cantik. My children like. The scenery is less beautiful because there is a construction work beside a nice location near jetty and town.
I was check in there (Eagle Bay Hotel) for 2 days and the service offer to me are very good & professional. The staff at the counter are very friendly and fast service. The food that have been serve to me are very good taste. This hotel bring the vintage environment to me and also its stated at very strategic location where its very near to Jetty Point and near to the town. I surely will check in here again if i come to Pulau Langkawi after this. Highly recommend to others.
i stayed at this hotel with my friends and found, its very good hotel. even their appearance doesn't look so nice, but the warm heart of the service capture our heart. the staff very polite and friendly. for the room, i dint think its outdated like other people said. for me, its a vintage values that became identity of this hotel. rather than that, what i like the most about this hotel is, it's located in Kuah town and easy to access. i just have to walk about 5 minutes to the Lagenda Park and i really feel like take a rest. Thank you Eagle Bay Hotel for having us and let us to rest in peace. I highly reccommand this hotel for people that want to find accommodation at Langkawi.
The good things about this hotel is the strategic location and easy access. So you might not to headache to think about where to eat and easily can access to kids park, kuah town. Internal part very spacious to compare with nearby hotel with this rate however need some improvement on the decorations . Cafe food was good, only need more variety. However it is noise disturbance of next door doing construction and 1st time i reached here i thought this hotel stop the operations since saw the entrance in renovations. Hope that they can complete the front since it is worry about the safety and as a hotel, the front should look ready because it will give bad 1st impression to guest, Anyway, the staff very friendly and helpful. For the rates they offered, i can say that it is fair and affordable for the value as i stayed in suite rooms, the rates is reasonable
I went there during the school holiday with my family. It was I deeply concerned with these few things that I think that your management needs to pay a lot attention to do some major improvements: 1. Front desk staffs need to be well-informed in everything; especially regarding the room reservation 2. The waiting area (near the front desk) needs to be well-ventilated and airy 3. Add a ramp to facilitate disabled people with wheelchairs to the dining area. 4. The TV channels reception were very poor. 5. Difficulty in opening the door using the access card. 6. Prolong use of the toilet shower makes the water increasingly hot (cannot be controlled). 7. The room doesn't have extra locking mechanism for safety purpose (children can easily open up the door (from inside the room). But there is also a good point that I want to highlight which is the hotel is quite near with the jetty and located centrally.
Very poor service. It is probably one of the worst hotel in the World, it scary and smelly. Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. There was a foul smell from the time we checked in and after sending their room service to clean up and we realised that the air cond was not working. The smell still remained through out our stay and on the last day we found a dead rat under the bedside table.Called up the manager and they offered me RM50 asking me to sign a deal not to viral this matter. Money is not a big deal for me. Paying RM240 per night and my family sleeping with died rat with a bad smell. Toilet cleanliness is totally out. Booked family room for 4 person and towel only provided 2 piece, soap given 1 only for 4 person. Stay for 3 days 2 nights, towel not changed ,have to use the same towel for 3 days. When we checked in at 3pm the room was not cleaned up, we called the housekeeping and had to wait for 30 mins for them to sweep and mope the room. Then air-cond not working, had to call them again, we waited another 30mins for them to repair the air-cond.What type of service is ? Please forward this to everyone so that others will be cautious before booking such a hotel.
I can say this is the good hotel, good location and good price. The staff very friendly and the breakfast is buffet breakfast and the taste is good. The only one that they need to fix is the pillow little bit hard but everything else are good. Around hotel you can easy find food reachable by walk and of you have children also have park in the front of hotel. The best food is YB corner, when you going out from the hotel, turn left and you will find this restaurant. The restaurant open at 7pm.
Hotel is situated in main road aproaching kuah jetty ,eagle square and legenda park. Rooms ok but not well maintained.Breakfast average and staffs very good. On my visit the lift was not working auto but now its maintained.
Despite the fact that the staff were friendly and the room was a decent size it is not at all like the pictures in the booking site deliberately misleading potential guests. The rooms are incredibly shabby with tape on the cupboards and wardrobe, with noisy renovations. There was a pair of old shoes in the room when we arrived, no idea whose they were, so it had not been properly cleared. The bathroom is similar to what I imagine a prison bathroom to look like, it was at least 20 years old with paint that had peeled off the sink and there was rust on the metal door, something not allowed in the UK as it is a serious Health and Safety risk due to the potential for Tetanus. There is a large mosque across the road from the hotel which blasts out not just the standard call to prayer that you'd expect in an Islamic country, but long sermons lasting about an hour several times a day making it difficult to sleep, on holiday you don't necessarily appreciate the very loud 6 am wake up call and sermon. The wi-fi was awful and did not work most of the time. On top of all this the lift broke meaning a member of staff had to come let us down and up to our room and there was a 'mistake' in the booking system and a member of staff wanted to chuck us out even though I had paid for another night. The breakfast was bland and unsatisfying and made me feel ill afterwards, my boyfriend commented he had the worst sausage he'd ever had. The hotel felt almost completely empty, some of the floors were out of order. It's a shame as there's great potential there but management seem to be incapable of running a decent hotel or wanting to put in decent investment in trying to give guests a good experience. Spare yourself the trauma of this hotel and go somewhere else.
