We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic B&B in a lovely quiet area. The garden and surrounds were lovely, the room was perfect and the whole place felt so welcoming, especially our Host Hilde. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Honestly this was the best B&B I have ever stayed in - the host was fabulous, the location was excellent, as were the facilities in terms of accessibility, comfort and welcomeness. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay and the whole place to ourselves. Amazing breakfast. Convenient and easy parking. Obviously newly furnished. Hilde is an excellent host at this wonderful B&B! She accommodated a late check-in for coming out of town, and was very helpful on providing info on local attractions. The room was nicely renovated in warm wood tones, spacious, and relaxing, as well as an ensuite bathroom with large shower and all basic necessities provided. Hilde also accommodated an extra early start the next day by having breakfast earlier than usual, which had lots of variety and was delicious. This B&B is perfectly located for those interested in visiting battlefield and local sites of WWI history. I highly recommend t Hooghe Licht Bed & Breakfast if you are visiting the area.
