Our trip started out with not being able to locate the cabin easily because the listed address is for the neighboring cabin and we had no cell signal to reach out and clarify. Cabin is NOT on the lake; rather you need to drive down the hill past other properties to get to the lake. It was advertised as having WiFi and a Smart TV, but there was no WiFi or working TV (page has since been updated). Basement bedroom has no egress. Some areas are in need of repair (e.g., uncovered electrical outlets, multiple light switches did not work / bulbs out including in the main living room / laundry / deck, vent in large upstairs bedroom bent and not secured to floor). Pots/pans VERY scratched up and non-stick coating is peeling off. Bath towels were extremely small and thin. Amenities were scarce (e.g., bathroom soap empty in upstairs bathroom, only one kitchen towel, no salt & pepper) or misrepresented (e.g., there is a pool table, but the one cue has no tip so unable to play). There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. No waste can in basement. Guests required to take garbage to local waste collection site, but closed on Tuesdays (day of our checkout). The bathrooms and kitchen appear to have been recently remodeled, but the rest of the cabin is in desperate need of some updates. This rental came with a hefty cleaning fee, but the coffee pot was filthy, shower floors/drains had clumps of hair and dead bugs in them, and closets had dark staining on the walls, etc.
