One of the best places to stay in Blackpool, its part of choice hotel's they also have the Claremont and the Viking. It's on the sea front. really clean nice rooms, staff helpful and is amazing great choice at mealtimes and entertainment is great and kids club good for the kids.

Cliffs is a nice hotel , a little dated but clean and tidy , very welcoming, food is good , entertainment brill , would defo recommend, brill for a family , I’ve been bringing mine here for 10 years .

We've been going to the Cliffs for years and as I said before its because we like it.Since our last visit late last year there are ongoing improvements to the hotel. As you enter there are new outer doors leading to a revolving inner door which to my mind is a bit too small. The cocktail bar has been refurbished and now has a more intimate atmosphere. The rooms are being brightened up, ours had been redecorated with a lighter wallpaper and new carpets which we definitely approve of. As usual the food is excellent with great choice and loads of variety in the self serve section. All the staff do a great job,our favourite is Kate we always look forward to seeing her. We noticed a new member of the bar team, he's called Nathan and he must have been in the trade a while because he is a natural he makes it seem so easy. The entertainment was generally good, on Saturday night we had a lovely young lady singer I think her name is Rebecca Louise and she was very very good. Choice hotels don't lose her, she has talent.

We always stay at cliffs when we visit Blackpool. Amazing hotel, great entertainment. Food is Amazing and staff are so helpful and friendly. Won't stay anywhere else. Kids loved it. Always have the best time.

Having stayed here before, and at their Claremont and Viking options over the last 20 years, I have seen the changes in the hotels. From visiting bringing my own mother, to now bringing my grandchildren, I always considered the Choice group to be one of the best, and only ones to stay with, in Blackpool. Using the Claremont, the last few times, we decided to change to the Cliffs for this break, only to say, never again. We requested a double and twin bedded room, and apparently, they only have 4 in the whole Hotel? The rooms are badly laid out, carpet stained and dirty, and the storage for, what is a family of 4 sadly lacking. In this day and age, with mobiles, I pads, lap tops, etc, being offered 2 plug sockets, one of which is for the kettle, and both miles from the beds, is really sad, as is having a TV screen, smaller than a laptop, with a remote that does not work and has no battery cover on the back! Not one coat hook, to hang a wet coat on, so either wet all your other clothes in the wardrobe, or? No toilet roll holder, just placed on the back of the cistern, for you to twist when needing to access. As an added bonus in this room, especially for the young kids, we have 2 foot curtain tie backs, yes, 4 of them! Hooked nicely at each side of the curtains, just like a hangman's noose, at the right level for those just toddling and walking, with a chair placed close to one of them, for additional help should a young child require it. I have seen, small tie backs, but NEVER 2 foot ones, and do wonder who does the risk assessments here. Similarly, there is no safeguarding children policy, in regard to mobile phones and the swimming area, and your child or you, can be added to Facebook by anybody, as nobody prevents the use age of mobile phones in the swimming area, and therefore the changing are, as this is unsupervised. I have to say that the noise in this hotel is terrible, and needs addressing. To have to listen to the person in the next room performing on the toilet is not a requirement I wish to have, nor the noise of their bathroom fan, TV or conversation. The door slamming and children running along the corridors until after midnight is a nuisance, but not as much as the smokers, who exit their rooms to go down for a fag, and leave their doors to slam shut behind them. Our neighbours continued until 02.30, and restarted at 05.20, re slamming at 05.44, when arriving back, before the toilet performance. I have had less than 3 hours sleep. Food was reasonable last night, our table waiter attentive and good with children. Drinks waiters invisible. Food needs replenishing quicker when it runs out, as do plates and bowls. I would say they are running with too little staff.

8 of us had booked 4 twin rooms for our stay from Friday lunchtime to Sunday lunchtime. our "All Inclusive" stay included bed, breakfast & evening meal for the two nights and also included entertainment on both nights and between the hours of 11:00am and midnight, our alcoholic drinks. We had the option of an upgrade to a more expensive drink by paying a supplement at the bar. Saturday lunch of fish, chips & mushy peas was available free of charge if required. The rooms were clean & comfortable and all the staff we encountered were pleasant and extremely helpful. There was also an indoor pool, but none of us found time to use it. We will certainly be paying this hotel another visit, but would try to avoid the family weekends, as there were quite a lot of children running around the dance floor in the evenings.

We stayed for 5 nights in January '18 - total price £256 (£128 each) for dinner, bed & breakfast. This included free nightly entertainment and bingo (pay extra). Nice lounge and cocktail bar with a very large restaurant. Buffet breakfast and dinner was main meal served at the table with buffet starters and sweets. The rooms were a little small but for the price we got more than we paid for. Free parking at the front but not always spaces available - there was ample free street parking (this is January so cannot speak for other times of the year). A short walk into the town centre or bus/tram stop immediately outside. A small pool and hot tub plus 2 exercise rooms - free to residents. Also a children's play room but cannot speak about the facilities/activities. Most afternoons there was some kind of activity in the concert room. i.e. indoor bowls, quiz, mastermind, etc.

12 of us stayed at the cliffs hotel I didn't know what to expect because I hadn't stayed in blackpool for many years, but I wasn't disappointed!! we stayed 5 nights with breakfast and evening meal. well the food was great far better than I expected for the price we paid. The rooms were cleaned every day and they were very comfortable. the staff were friendly and efficient. There was entertainment on every night and I must say there wasn't a single night that we didn't all enjoy. great singers and great comedians. I would definitely recommend the cliffs hotel to everyone and cannot wait to go there again. Denise R

Myself and my daughter booked in for overnight stay on 24 January 2018. We were allocated room number 317. The room itself was clean however was very cold and there is not a lot of room for manouevre in the bathroom to shower and use toilet facilities. That being so we had a great time at the hotel and enjoyed the bingo and evening enetertainment . We had to leave early the next morning for onward trip and special thanks to restaurant manager `Anna` who arranged for us to breakfast early from 0740 to allow us a hot meal. Also thanks to `Grace` our waitress who was very pleasant and the lady restaurant manager who was also very helpful on Thursday morning as we left. We were in time for onward connections havinbg enjoyed a lovely breakfast thanks to you staff.

We came for a family Birthday and had a great time. The hotel has lovely ,friendly helpful staff, is in a great location with its own tram and bus stop and the food is WOW. Do as much or little as you want it's a nice stroll into Blackpool and we got Tram and bus passes for £14 which we used for trips to Latham, St Anne's, Fleetwood and Cleaveley as well as up and down the seafront excellent value and bought from hotel reception. Hubby needed to leave early on the last day at 6am for work and they even offered to get him breakfast! That's customer service and we'll be coming back.
