Checked in at 12.30pm I was first in line 226 was the room we got allocated they told us the room would not be ready till 2.30pm which wasn’t a problem so we reserved our table for dinner and headed into Blackpool, got back to hotel about 5.30pm went to reception and got the keys to the room. OMG the corridors to the room were absolutely filthy looked like it had not been painted since 1947 on entering the room I was very disappointed it smelled terrible and the double bed I sat on was that tired my rear touched the divan base. I booked with when I booked it I requested a double bed and 2 single beds that is what i booked as I have 2 teenage kids I say kids one 13 and one 16, the room had 1 double bed a single bed and bunk bed this I never booked as the bunk bed would have been to small. As a rule I never complain but I had paid a lot of money for this trip so went down to reception to see what they could do, got to the reception and pleaded my case fair play to the girl on reception she said I will see if I can move you, after looking she told me the hotel was full as everyone had booked in. I told her I was the first one to book in and it looks I have touched for the worst room they had to offer she said would you like to see a manager I replied yes. OMG again the female manager came out she was very nice at first but then she started to get stroppy saying that I had booked with and they never told them I didn’t want bunk beds her attitude was ridiculous and if it had been a man I would have punched him in the face I felt like I was flogging a dead horse so I had to put up with it I told her I would not be staying there again and I would advise anyone who I knew to avoid this hotel like the plague her reply was a shrug of the shoulders very professional I thought NOT. anyway apart from the pathetic room and the even more pathetic manager the food was lovely and the staff in the restaurant were really nice. To add insult to injury I got talking to a man in the bar with 2 children one 7 year old and one 11year old he said his room was ok a double bed and 2 singles I said do you mind me asking how much you paid he said yes no problem he paid £100 less than me and he booked it 2 weeks ago I booked 3 months ago I thought marvellous. I will never return to this hotel again the manager is a joke.

Once again had a nice stay at this hotel. The only difference from all our other stays is they had just completed redecorating the entrance and bar area. This included new entrance doors, carpeting, refurbishing furniture, wallpapering and new lights. All well done and in good taste. As normal the staff were very good and the food was well up to their good standards. Will certainly visit again.

Visited here for birthday weekend lovely place even though was dreary and wet outside . Entertainment was brill food was exceptional pool and jacuzzi lovely and relaxing the housekeeping were brill with extra duvet pillows for room .. didn’t need to go into main centre as it’s all under one roof especially when not good outside ..

Hotel itself lovely and was on track for a lovely stay until Saturday eve when the cast of Big Fat Gypsy Wedding turned up and caused chaos Woke to reception full of police which terrified my son then to make matters worse a false fire alarm whilst son in bath completely ruined stay. He was frightened to death

just back from a easter break .worst time ever this hotel as gone down hill its more like pontins kids every where if you want quite /restfullbreak aviod at all cost the pool area un maned kids in out sauna /whirlpool no adults in sight just left to run wild then police pressnce on sight says it all ,same in restraunt kids ever where messsing with food staff unable to deal with it sorry cliffs you are going down hill

This hotel accommodated around 100 friends at very short notice. After another hotel let us down with only four days notice the Cliffs found rooms for as many as possible. They went out of their way to make us,an Army Reunion, very welcome providing us with a special private room and bar, a separate dining room and excellent food. The evening dinner was excellent and every one of the staff were friendly, helpful and gave wonderful service. There was also entertainment in an other lounge to which we were welcome. Cannot praise this hotel enough.

Stayed weekend with my wife jay and it was nice to trouble with gypses arrived and caused trouble in bar area not impressed ruined my weekend put complaint in no answer typical hotel never book here again

Paid extra for a sea view room and wasn’t disappointed! Spacious room, very clean and tidy, with all you would expect from a hotel. Yes parking is limited but don’t let it stop you from staying here. Although we only booked bed and breakfast we did take advantage of the evening meal twice and it was well worth the £20 a head. Food all in all was excellent, plenty of choice and all very tasty. Only gripe we had was location of our table where we seemed to be overlooked by staff, however polite word to management and this was rectified immediately. Staff couldn’t do enough even going to the extent of making us a sandwich when we’d got back late from our day out and was starving. Bit of argy bargy on last day with police being called over other residents, but staff held it together well. When we come back to Blackpool, this is where we will definitely stay again. Keep up the the good work Cliffs Hotel!!!

Stayed here with partner and 5 year old, previously had a bad stay at The Norbreck down the road they year before so we were very wary about staying in Blackpool again. Daughter loves it so we did a little research and ended up here, not to be disappointed! Hotel was beautiful, room was perfect size and cleanliness was on point. We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast, the food was amazing, buffet galore. Entertainment for the children and adults both really enjoyed. Staff were very helpful, we will be booking again for here next year.

Our room was freshly decorated and bright and clean.meals were very good with a good selection,we rate this hotel very good for the price we paid and would only go to this hotel if we go to Blackpool again.the staff are very polite in the dining room and the bars which is always very nice and welcoming.parking is limited but that is the case at most hotels cannot really fault this hotel.thank you to everyone.
