Straightforward Holiday Inn Express accommodation. Good location just off the motorway. Room was bright and clean, lots of space and decent price. Reception very good and no issues. Parking is in retail park car park next door so a few steps to the doors.

Stayed 31 Aug to 4 Sept. First visit to this HIE. A really spacious and well laid out room with excellent ensuite (Rm 130). Scrupulously clean, nice public spaces and breakfast set-out which had comprehensive hot/cold food offerings without excess. Parking is alongside the hotel in a council-controlled and monitored space: the hotel secures time-unlimited parking for guests. But the best bit was the really efficient and kind front-of-house staff, particularly. Nothing was a trouble, including the manager lending me his phone to deal with a small local need. If only all hotel managements showed such enthusiasm and kindness! Rm 130 doesn't have much of a view but is very quiet, so suggest odd-numbered rooms on floors 2 or higher would do better, if outlook is your preference. Thanks to general manager Mark Calpin, duty manager Ian McCrorie, and the very kind ladies at reception, Eva and very particularly Eithne.

Last night i stayed at the holiday inn express Hamilton. the receptionist was helpful and told me how to get to Frankie and Benny's. The room i had was big. Big double bed. I was impressed with the wifi. Easy to use. Breakfast was good.. I recommend the holiday inn express Hamilton. I will hopefully be back.

In August/September, I was booked into this hotel on two occasions by my employer as their training centre is very nearby. The rooms were sizeable, the beds were very comfortable and rooms have an ironing board, iron and hairdryer as standard, as well as a kettle for tea/coffee and a flat screen TV. Breakfast is included in the price - sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, bread for toasting, muffins, croissants, 4 types of cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and hot drinks machine. No complaints, and you can take breakfast to go if you are short on time. There is a bar, and a very limited food menu for the evening - but staff are happy to recommend local eateries and even provide plates/cutlery if you get a take away. Staff very approachable, and make you feel at home. The only thing stopping me giving this an excellent rating (and it is quite trivial, but made the difference) is that there is no enclosed clothes storage space. Hangers, yes - but somewhere to store my 'smalls' would have been much appreciated! Would definitely recommend.

An excellent holiday, clean, fresh, good staff. Central to buses and trains and near the town centre. Good value, good breakfast. Close to easy transport to City centre. Close to the airport Area is reasonably priced Shopping area below the Hotel, Next, Asda, JD sports.

I recently stayed here with my young daughter. The hotel is immaculate with comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovely and there was the option to fill a breakfast bap and put in a paper bag and take out with you,if you were on the go. Staff were lovely and helpful. Frankie & Bennys was nearby, which was nice and if you keep your receipt and return to them within 60 days you get 25% of your next meal.

Hotel was good location for touring Scotland. However when travelling with family you would hope to have a nice quite evening and night. However due to some reason we were placed with a huge party that filled the corridors with older teenager girls that were here for dance tournament. As I was informed in the morning that I could of rang reception, despite the obvious that if they are the sort of people to make noise at 3am that I was doubtful of what difference this would make to the screaming, shouting, slamming of doors. Hopefully this was a one off but would hope that allocation of rooms is looked at in more detail

One night stay with my husband and two kids aged 10 and 11. Bright, fresh and modern hotel. Staff very friendly. Family room with king size bed and double sofa bed. Plenty of space in the room. Bathroom spotless. Enough towels for four of us. TV worked perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant. Lots of variety of fresh food, buffet style. All hot and fresh. One night for family for bed and breakfast £70. Brilliant value. It's location is within a small retail park with ASDA, Next and Frankie & Bennys. Would highly recommend.

Booked 2 nights at short notice to attend Funeral. Managed to get last room as 2 big events on in Glasgow. Room rates were considerably higher than normal, but needs must. Our second visit and things have changed , not always for the better. Staff are very polite, friendly and professional, room was clean and well maintained although a little more storage would be nice, with the addition of a sofa or easy chairs. Bar/ Restaurant area are well maintained but functional rather than welcoming. Limited choice of drinks at the Bar with excessive prices for the area. Limited choice of both hot and cold food at the breakfast buffet . Very poor choice if you are looking for Low Calorie or healthy options. Would return if nothing else close by.

Stayed here a few weeks back was cautious at first as I tend to stay above budget but honestly this place really is above and beyond. the breakfast for being complimentary is the best I've had thrown in for free. The location isn't the closest for Glasgow airport but it's not that far that it's tedious. The room I had was nice and big. Comfy bed and free WiFi too but it was sometimes glitchy. but I think the best part of my stay was speaking with antony on the bar and reception area he made me feel welcomed and took the time to chat and ask about my time in the uk. A charming character who I wish I had more time to get to know had I had the chance to stay longer . One tip is to know the parking is not direct outside becuase English is not my 1st language it was a little rough on me to work out but you must park to the shopping area to the left of holiday inn then input your information onto the computer but it was free. When I pass through Scotland again I would choose to stay here again of course and maybe speak more with the wonderful antony. 10/10
