The hotel was good as expected just sorry that I had no car to help me during my visit !! But the reception staff in my opinion went beyond my expectations very helpful organising taxis for me to allow me to carry out my obligations during my stay !!!?

Great Stay with Minor Flaws

Really enjoyed our stay at Alona Hotel for what was a last minute booking. Staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again with Bellshill Train Station a 5 min drive away with plenty of parking available there to enjoy the train into Glasgow. We only had a couple of minor issues with our room. Firstly, the outside windows of our room (309) were very dirty and could do with a clean. Lastly, the rainfall shower head wasn't working although the handheld shower was. The water tended to gather at the bottom of the shower which made it very wet but minor complaints really.

The hotel and the room are very clean, there is a lake and a bowling nearby, also other bits perfects for a family with kids.. i would recommend this hotel to everybody.. Thanks ☺️
