The overall experience of our trip at the Hotel and the surrounding environment was excellent. The presence of the Kinsterna near major cities but also a kind of isolated created a unique atmospheric experience. The surrounding farm, the swimming pool and the walking paths through the landscape are surely elements that contribute to the unique nature of this hotel. The hotel building is perfectly balanced in the environment, while the architectural solution which is based at a restored old building is quite remarkable. We stayed at the new building (suites) and the rooms were spacious, with very nice furniture and a memorable veranda. Very nice bathroom and shower. The swimming pool is greatly located and generally is excellent in terms of spaces. However, the pool service was poor. Very good separation of pools one for families and kinds and one for the rest of the customers. The breakfast was very very good, had plenty of freshly made and diverse tastes. We would definitely visit again.

Visited Hotel Kinsterna in April 2018 - best time of year with all the wild flowers in bloom to visit this area of Greece, which is still wonderfully unspoilt with beautiful mountains and coastlines and few tourists. The hotel is exceptional with a beautifully restored very old fortified villa, attentive and helpful stall, excellent food, facilities and spa treatments - this hotel is truly worth visiting. We will certainly return again at this time of year.

This hotel is beautiful but it's miles from anywhere so unless you want to drive you're stuck eating in the hotel. One restaurant is just OK and the other option is by far too w pensive. Not worth it!

We had an almost perfect stay at Kinsterna. It is a wonderful property that oozes classic beauty and tranquility. We felt completely zen and a world away from our busy everyday lives. The pool was quiet and clean, and the layout has been considered to offer guests relative privacy around the pool. The staff were extremely professional and approachable. They offered excellent recommendations for their menu when asked. We particularly appreciate that the hotel employs local people to work throughout the hotel. The staff appeared invested in the hotel's success, and this means that guest like us really enjoy their stay. The food was delicious, and where possible grown or reared in the local area. We usually eat out a lot whilst on holiday, but during our stay at KInsterna, we only left the hotel for food once. The only time we ate out the experience was totally disappointing. Staff at the hotel had recommended the 'Matoula' restaurant and the food was inedible. We were surprised that they had recommended somewhere so bad because they obviously know good food - they produce and serve it all day! Perhaps we were really unlucky? We really enjoyed using the spa and did so on many occasions. You have to book (and pay for) the spa space which was new for us, and although you get the steam, sauna, and jacuzzi to yourself, we didn't like that we had to book and plan to use it. We, of course, knew this before booking and accepted it, but having used this system we prefer the 'turn-up and sometimes share' system. We would certainly recommend Kinsterna for those looking for a complete relax and recharge. You will need a car as it is fairly remote but that is really important in creating the atmosphere here. We hope to return.

Kinsterna is the type of hotel that seduces you to long hours of daydreaming, relaxing and re-connecting. It was the second time visiting, this time with my sister, and it was again fascinating. Service was always available and smooth and food was excellent. We truly enjoyed the traditional pasta 'goglies' but unfortunately we were not inspired nor intrigued by the Spondi curated menu. We want to thank you for our accommodation and we will see you soon!

We arrived at the hotel and were awe-struck by its location and beauty. The scent of orange blossom filled the air from its many trees. Our room (21) was great; bijou but pefectly formed. At around 6a.m, the radiator made clanking noises, even though the heating was off -not great if you are a light sleeper like me. Room cleaning: Amazing! The ladies came to our room twice aday - once to make the beds and clean, and in the evening to turn our beds down, ready for the night. Breakfast: Staff were also amazing - attentive without being over-the-top. Breakfast buffet was lovely and it felt healthy too! Restaurant: Delicious food. We highly recommend the prawn or lamb. Portions are small and vegetables would have been a welcome addition. Surroundings: Stunning! Hotel: So many nooks and crannies to investigate. Occasionally, piped music was played and this was very taste-dependent. Pool area is beautiful. This truely is an escape from the craziness of life. A car is a must to visit surrounding area. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely. Would we visit again? Absolutely. Thank you to the hotel staff...each and everyone one of you deserve praise.

An incredible place which you dont want to leave.a must go place if you visit Greece. Also families are welcome.playground and kids pool existing. Close to Monemvasia and to the beach. 100% privacy if you want

Family vacation for new year's. The overall feeling is that you are a very special guest and they make sure everything is perfect. The had organized activities (horseriding, bread making etc) plus they have a playground and a very well equipped playroom so even toddlers have lots of fun. The breakfast was great (quality & quantity) the new year's reveillon was delicious, we found a handwritten card & sweets in our room after the reveillon, the next day's brunch was wonderful and of course the room was very very beautiful and perfectly clean. The surroundings are so nice you don't want to leave the premises - you can relax, take a walk, have fun, read a book and do anything you want in the best vacation environment. Pampering at it's best!!!!

One of the best holidays I've ever had. Staff are amazing, the hotel is beautiful and the surrounding area delightful. This is one of those really unknown places that you'd rather keep a secret but can't help telling everyone about it the moment you get back home. Part of me wants everyone to keep it quiet, another part makes me want to shout it from the rooftops. I loved it here and would go back at a moments notice. Just don't tell too many people about it please!

The kinsterna hotel is a very relaxing retreat. It has many rooms and suites that have different styles and architecture. It has very professional and attentive staff and they always seem very helpful. The moat pool at the hotel is also a very relaxed haven to read books and swim and just look at the views.
