House was in poor condition, smelly and dirty inside. Dishwasher door trim was coated with layer of dust and food scrap. Lint filter in washing machine had enormous built up turned black that took me a long time to clean it before I do a load of washing. Hair found in bath tub and new towels. Few light bulbs not working. Just a few signs showing extreme lack of attention in maintaining the property. Overall the experience was gross and uncomfortable.

Lovely large townhouse complex with laundry available! I still can’t believe I had a whole house to myself! The hotel is a 15 min. walk from the main part of town, where the Intercity bus stop is, and tougher to wheel a suitcase to than I expected due to gravel paths. It’s not a long walk to the lake to see lupins and the area feels very safe. I even managed to get a few night sky photos from the backyard!

This a nice little complex which is starting to get a bit run down in places. Like almost everywhere we stayed in NZ the beds were not up to scratch. What we loved about this place was that it was cosy and nicely furnished in a way that felt like a home. The kitchen amazingly actually had good pans (lots of them) and sharp knives but was designed /laid out badly. Staff were nice. Overall very clean but attention to detail was lacking such as the grout needed a good scrub and silly things had been missed like no spare bin bags, tea towels missing and no spare given even when asked, no cleaning cloths. Stingy with the washing up liquid sachets etc. No oil or UHT milk sachets for a cup of tea on arrival.

The carpet in the unit really needs replaced and a fresh paint job would go a long way. Unit was nice and spacious. We had a problem with the fireplace which the manager fixed. Also garage door was broken and wouldn’t open. But it was taken care of promptly. The manager was very nice and helpful

Lake Apartment/house. Very spacious. Little bit of a walk to shops/cafes and restaurants but in a nice quiet spot. Could not see the lake from the upstairs bedroom window, but can see the snow covered mountains. Enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

What an absolutely fabulous, beautiful place!!! We stayed in a 3 bedroom family lodge, it was just unbelievable. Felt so luxurious and absolutely all details were perfect, for example lovely quality toiletries. So spacious, we were 3 adults and 2 children. Immaculate stay! Washing machine and dryer in the garage were super convenient. Fully kitted kitchen. Would highly recommend.
