Great option for price. Nice views across to Lake Taupo. Just a bit of traffic noise and outside of property could do with gardening particularly whrn room overlooks it

I didn’t like the mess around the steps leading up stairs to our unit. The motel is connected on to the back of a hotel/restaurant. I also thought the shower floor was dangerous as when wet was very slippery. I had to wear jandals on my feet when showering

Very nice motel, new bathroom and renovated room with a small kitchen. Though even easier to pop into the pub next door for dinner 😊 Friendly welcome and all round pleasant stay.

Clean and up to date interior, comfy bedding and helpful front desk staff. Lovely view of the lake as well.

Although the unit was clean and tidy there were limited facilities: e.g. no stove elements or saucepans to cook breakfast and didn't enjoy having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. I also found the steps up to the unit a bit dangerous and I cut my heel on one of the steps when coming down. A stand to put suitcases on would be good and some hangers in the wardrobe. Otherwise all ok thanks for the opportunity to stay at Twin Peaks, Taupo.
