Roadwork was going on all night while we stayed there, including jack-hammers on the street directly under our room. The view was nice, the staff friendly, but the sleeping was poor. I feel like the discounted room rate should have been discounted MUCH more.

Our stay at Pepper tree was ok but nothing to write home about. When they say check in is at 4pm they mean not a minute sooner. On the site it showed a pool and air conditioning they had neither. Also there wasnt any where to sit in the room or outside the room. If you are looking for just a place to sleep then this is the place but if you are looking for a relaxing stay not so much.

The View from the top floor!

Great location near the lake. Town is walkable. Hotel has no a/c and while it had a portable fan in the room, you have to keep the windows open for fresh air and the street below is loud until about 10p unless an emergency vehicle goes by. It's also a safety concern having to leave the window open. They're short on staff so they no longer serve breakfast (which we didn't know until we had already booked). The elevator is small and the place definitely needs an update however, the room was super clean, the bed and linens comfy, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room & staff were great! Best part, was the view from the 7th (top) floor, which was spectacular! We would definitely stay there again.

My perspective, rooms were dingy, pillows didn’t smell clean and in general needed updating. I understand the reason, but would not pick this hotel in summer due to lack of air conditioning.

This is a no frills motel/Inn. I have gone twice now and they do not have a daily maid service, the pool is full of dirt with no intention of emptying or using as a pool which is OK. This being said the Monday night to Thursday night rate is fair but, for a weekend stay it is outrages for what you receive- even for a no frills Motel/Inn. Again this is a Motel/Inn not a Hotel as advertised.
