Escaped from a bad AirBnB experience in San Francisco and drove up here on a whim. Last minute booking. Got a great rate on two lodge rooms. We arrived much later than expected and reception was closing. However Ben on the desk waved us in, he had kindly emailed clear late check in details to us, but manually checked us in. Great friendly and genuine service. Rooms 204 and 205. How welcome these were! Spotless. Huge. Surprise kitchenette and big shower and plenty of towels, tissues and essentials. Everything is close by. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed in a Double room with 2 queen beds and kitchenette. I wanted to stay here because of the good reviews I saw online. I also have nothing but good things to say about Heavenly Inn. The staff were very friendly and they had chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Our room looked and smelled clean with a hardwood floor and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The hotel is not on a busy street and it was nice and quiet at night. We liked how close it was to Heavenly Village. I had my birthday dinner at Izabella's, which was also closeby. I would highly recommend both a stay at Heavenly Inn and eating at Izabellas.

the gentleman who checked us in, i felt he wanted to help us have a great time. his suggestions regarding restaurants, places to walk. There was a bear trying to get into the dumpster of another motel. the room was clean, but could be better. the floors need attention and some rooms smelled of mold. i loved the place because of location and service. check it out.

We checked in on Friday and stayed for two nights. It is definitely a great location in Heavenly area. It is close to Gondola, shopping, local restaurants and best of all close to MARINA (You could walk down to the area) We had a two queen standard room with Jacuzzi, the rooms were a little small and the jacuzzi was a hit with the kids. The room doesn't have a chair or a table and no other furniture except for beds, side-table. We checked in around 9pm on Friday and the main (only) lamp when you enter the room did not work. The only thing worked was the side lamp and that too was more like a reading light. We did let the front-desk guy know about it right away and he tried some trouble shooting and even changed the light bulb but did not work at all. When we woke up next morning, we found a roll of hair (not kidding) on the bed which we didn't notice the night before since it was too dark. We didn't complain the front desk as they might reason that it might be ours since we have been here one night. They were going to send maintenance guy next morning. The maintenance guy never arrived entire day Saturday while we were gone and even we didn't bother to remind the hotel again. The room was clean and the beds were made when we came back. But the hotel is not worth $200/night, definitely not. The beds are old and would squeak every time you turn. The hotel staff is great and friendly, would be able to answer all your questions for local activities but the hotel definitely needs a little makeover in the room or atleast make it worth the price you are paying. Lowering the price would be one of them.

hi , i booked this hotel during a weekday , when the rates were not as high but we still paid 150$ a room . just booked this as it came with a small kitchenette and the reviews were good . but pretty much the rooms are outdated, the carpet wasnt clean , there were stains on furniture inside the kitchen . i wanted to switch my room with another one on the other side of this hotel ( heavenly inn & secret inn both are part of same hotel). the front desk guy was generous enough to show us the available room and saw that we liked it, but offered us the room for 30$ more, even though it was showing on tripadvisor for less than what i paid for an outdated room in the heavenly inn side of the hotel (was showing for $100 a room). so, we were pretty much stuck with it . this was the lowlight of our whole vacation. the rooms had a weird smell . FYI: the manager has a tendency to reply to each comment . i am pretty sure she will say the hotel is not outdated, but trust me - you are better off somewhere else for this price . worst stay ever!

I chose this hotel based on high reviews. I am puzzled why people like it. The hotel is very old, inside and out. It is not a hotel at all - it's a motel. There is no attendant at night between 10:00pm and 8:00pm. Thus no wake up calls or anyone to solve your problems. No breakfast either. Conditioner is old, noisy and thermostat doesn't work. I was sick within hours, and woken up by noises. There was a noise and light from outside all night long. I asked the attendee to check my conditioner before going home. He clearly didn't know much about it and set it to turn off and on every 2 minutes. Everything else is more than basic, 2-star quality at best. For the price of a real hotel, this motel doesn't offer anything worth wanting.

We stayed in Suite 101 at the Heavenly Inn and it was like our very own apartment! We had a kitchenette with everything you could imagine provided (toaster, blender, pans, etc.). We had a huge bathroom with an awesome shower. The bed was large. Not to mention we had a giant jacuzzi tub. The staff was friendly and always willing to help you out. The lake and beach are a five minute walk and you get a free pass. Restaurants are about a block away and there is even a grocery store across the street. We enjoyed our stay at the Heavenly Inn.

We loved this hotel. Our room came with a fully equipped kitchen including real and fairly large sized coffee cups ( huge plus for me). A selection of dishes is provided if you choose to cook ( not me, lol). It is a short walk to the main strip with many restaurants and shopping options.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a couple nights, and we were very happy with our accommodations. The pricing was very affordable and the Inn is in a great location. It is located between a short walking distance to the lake as well as the Heavenly Village, which is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to Tahoe. Everyone working at the Inn was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and smelled really good when we got there. The customer service was great, and when we returned to our room from a long day of hiking, everything was restocked and we had clean towels and sheets waiting. Another great surprise was the jetted bathtub, which was such a great way to relax at the end of the day, especially if the weather is colder outside. It is like having a personal spa in your room instead of having to walk out to an outdoor community spa like many other hotels have. Another plus was that this place was dog friendly! We take our little pooch everywhere and he had a great time as well! Thank you Heavenly Inn.

Easy walk to the lake, and to the mall. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent price with a helpful staff. Sink in kitchenette was nice. Small window in bath was great. Sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening. Would love to return.
