We are around the corner from one of Lake Placid's best restaurants. There is a nice fenced in playground and waterfront park nearby. It is a quick walk up the hill to the Olympic Center, Olympic Oval, Mirror Lake Beach and Main St.
This private home has a living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor and 3 bedrooms and full bath upstairs. Two bedrooms have king sized beds that can be converted into 2 single beds each if preferred. The third has a full bed. All beds are protected by anti allergen mattress covers. There is a pullout couch in the living room. We have rustic hardwood floors upstairs and polished hardwood floors downstairs.
Our door has a Schlage keyless entry lock and each renter's code is unique so there is no fear of key duplication. There are 2 televisions with Amazon Prime and fire sticks and the home has fast wireless internet. Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch or BBQ on the large back deck. The deck and side yard are fenced in for privacy.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fenced private yard, and a coffee maker.

Lake Placid Getaway

We had a great time in Lake Placid at Patricia's place. It had plenty of room for our family of 5. The location was great for exploring downtown Lake Placid. There are many good places to eat close by as well as lots of outdoor activities. Pat was great with communication and it was easy to access the space. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Family visiting from Germany to spend time in the Adirondacks

This property suited our needs for an accommodation for a multigenerational family visit very well. The hosts were extremely accessible and helpful. It was fun wandering around in Lake Placid. We would very much consider staying at this property again.

Location is Everything!

Quick Getaway to Lake Placid

House is so well appointed - you want for nothing! The kitchen has all you need, the beds are comfortable and even though there is only 1 bathroom, it works! It is a bit of a walk into town, but definitely possible. Everything is super clean! Parking is easy.

The cottage is in a wonderful location, that is close to the main street and to main highways while still being secluded enough to have peace and quiet. The amenities provided, particularly cookware in the kitchen are also terrific and allow you to feel like you're at a home away from home while staying. Pat is also incredibly communicative, considerate, and helpful as a host.

Boy was it a trip. Our host were great! The house was clean and in order they had little things like laundry soap and coffee. Air conditioning! On top of that the host themselves were fantastic and made the trip overall like we were at home would definitely recommend!

We were impressed with how clean this house was. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets. The owners were very nice and let use use their sleds and snowshoes. The only downside might be that if you have a large group there is only one bathroom, but we made it work. We were very happy with our stay there and would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, roomy and lots of personal touches

The house was very clean, lots of thermostats, comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of personal touches throughout the home. Books, cards, toiletries in the bathroom, phone chargers, coffee , tea and donuts for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
