Worst room ever

when we arrived, there was no one at the desk just an envelope with our name and the key. The elevator was not working. so, we had to use the stairs. When we got to the room it was verry small. the queen bed took most of the room. As we walked in the floor was moving under our feet. The bathroom was tinny, when you would sit on the toilet your head was in the sink. The TV didn't work. If it wasn't late WE would have left for some were else. Worst room I ever stayed at. Hotels.com should be ashamed for offering this place.

It appears they are working on renovating this property however they are not even close to being finished. We ended up not staying. We rented 2 rooms and had to walk up a lot of stairs. No one on duty at hotel. Elevator was not working. One room only had one plug in and the air conditioner was plugged into it. The pictures on Expedia must have been from the best room they have because both rooms we booked did not even look near that good. I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel/Rooms are outdated but charming. Room was clean and was perfect for a one night stay that wasn’t too expensive. Beds were nice. No fridge or microwave in room. Would stay again - great location.

The entire property needs to be condemned. The room smelled like mold, shower and bathroom had mold in it. Property was very much run down.

Bed was so small I slept on floor. Bed didnt have a blanket, just a blanket cover and staff said nobody avaiable to deliver a blanket, so my friend slept with her winter jacket on. Since I didn’t sleep I was excited for a caffeinated tee but hot water wasn’t working either.

Avoid unless you’re hard up for cash. My room faced the parking lot but had no curtains. Peeling wallpaper and such. Didn’t see bugs but that was a surprise.

The room was not maintained properly. Water fountains to not work well and water leaks from shower. Beds are uncomfortable and mattresses are too old. Areas around hotel are good. May be find another hotel.

We booked this last minute because it was close to the wedding we were going to. The staff was very nice and attentive but our room reeked of smoke and there were stains all over the carpet. We’re also pretty sure we saw a ghost. I wouldn’t stay here again.

If you're looking for a cheap spot to stay near the village and aren't planning to spend too much time in the hotel room I would stay here. The room was clean but very outdated, the wallpaper in the bathroom was falling off and some of the bathroom tiles were broken. There is a TV but it looks more like a computer screen. The pillows were paper thin so maybe pack your own pillow. Free coffee, tea and water in the lobby - we didn't eat at the restaurant. There was someone at the front desk when we checked in but that is the only time I saw someone, which was okay because when we booked it said no front desk staff. Overall, cheapest spot very close to the main street but very old.

The property was close to town but did not have hot tub as listed, could not get extra pillows. The ones provided were extremely flat. There were no curtains or blinds on any of my windows so when i showered i turned around to have people standing there staring at me naked. Noone is at the desk, u have to call for everything. Could not get my tv to work. No fridge for leftovers. Shampoo but no cond. Just a room like a hostel. Food downstairs is always excellent. Have eaten there several times but will not reccomend or stay again. Not worth the price.

Don’t waste time or money

We had stayed at the pines inn before but after this stay we will never stay there again. The only thing this place had going for it was it was fairly clean. We had no blinds or curtains on the windows including one in the bathroom. There was no one at the front desk when we got there and our key was not on the counter even though we did the online based registration. We had one pillow each if you can call them pillows. The sheets were on their last thread. We had forgotten something in the room and called to be able to stop back and get it. When we showed up and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to help I was told it had already been thrown out after being told earlier it would be there. Overall horrible experience.
