FALSE ADVERTISING: This property advertises "Motel Luzerne BEACHFRONT hotel in Lake Luzerne with free parking." NO WHERE does it tell the prospective renter, OR show in photos, that Northside rooms are NOT on the beach/lake. At NO POINT is there a disclosure on your reservation that your room is a Northside room and that the room YOU will be renting is NOT on the beach/lake. The beach/lake is a 500 ft. UNDISCLOSED walk from the Northside rooms. We spoke with other renters who had no idea their room was NOT on the beach/lake as well. Your view from the Northside rooms is a busy, noisy road VERY close to the property/rooms. The door to the room is NOT secure. The outdoor light is visible from inside the room through the door's side jamb that has the handle on it because of the wide gap between the door and the side jamb. VERY disappointed and angry OUR choice of where to use our hard earned money was taken away. Finding another place would be impossible with the annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show in Lake George that weekend in addition to the inability to afford it. We went away to destress and left with WAY more!

Lake front, tranquil, just what was needed for a quiet relaxing vacation. Room Was surprisingly nice and clean. There’s 2 properties so didn’t see the pool one, but the lake one was beautiful. Perfect spot to sit out and read a book

Really Great Spot

We loved our stay at the lakeview room! It was very clean and had everything my friend and I needed to be comfortable! The staff even went out of their way to accommodate us with a fan when asked :) The canoe, kayaks, SUP's and paddleboat are a very nice touch! There was a firepit and supplies for a nice evening fire as well! Great stay at a childhood favorite location~ Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Motel Luzerne. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are recently renovated - clean, comfortable beds, streaming tv. The beachfront location is lovely with a nice swimming area with a dock, free use of kayaks and pedal boat, life jackets, picnic table, a grassy area to play, etc. It was chilly when we stayed, so my kids had a lot of fun in the heated pool. It was nice that pool towels were provided. There are a few buildings. We stayed in the building near the pool, which is not on the lake, but is a short walk to the lake area. Our building had a lot of stairs, so those with mobility issues will probably want to stay in the building on the lake. Both areas had renovated, cozy rooms. So, it's personal preference whether you want to be near the lake or near the pool. Lake Luzerne is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay, and my family is already talking about going back next year.

Wonderful, peaceful property on a small, clean lake. Ideal for mature couples and solo travelers. Rooms are simple but very nicely renovated, and the new owners have made some nice upgrades. Friendly, helpful and easygoing staff. Not an ideal location for those looking to dine out or shop. PERFECT for those just looking to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks. For travellers trying to get away from the stress of work and city life and live simply, I rate it a 10+, on a 1-10 scale. I had a wonderful experience there!

Nice cozy property, with newly renovated modern interior. Our queen suite fit our kids easily with the high quality sofabed. Has all the amenities you need like heated pool, its own beach with a lot of boating options, grills. The lake Luzerne itself is beautiful- quiet and lovely. Has a place for a bonfire, and the owners are hands on, usually available on site, and helpful. Bathroom size a bit smallish, well definitely be back.

The motel has been completely renovated. They did a great job of preserving its character outside while the inside felt like a modern hotel. The private beach was perfect. We will definitely be back.

We had a girls trip last week (two 17 year olds) and two mom's. We rented the Family Suite and it was PERFECT! It was extremely clean, well lit and everything had obviously just been renovated. The kitchen had all new appliances. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of comfy pillows. Sheets were good quality and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook. TV's were great and had Netflix etc. Shower pressure was good and lots of hot water. The small private beach area was perfect with lots of lounge and Adirondak chairs available as well as picnic table and fire pit. There were peddle boats and paddle boards available at no charge. Quiet lake with no motor boats, just very peaceful. We will definitely return was a lovely place and so close to Lake George Village and the outlets/restaurants.
