Property was beautiful, well-equipped and tastefully furnished. Great location near Chimney Rock and other attractions. Note that the boat house and upper deck is no longer there due to the hurricane. Thanks steve!

Great stay

Great location to Chimney Rock State Park. Great setup for our family. We loved the view and can’t wait to come back when the lake is back up to normal levels.

The house is better than in the pictures! It is xtremely clean and had everything we needed. The location on the lake provides a spectacular view.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Beautiful getaway right on the lake

We loved "Anchors Aweigh" on Lake Lure. The property was beautiful and it was directly on the lake with a dock where we could jump right in. Having the kayaks and canoes right there was a great bonus. We will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful lake views.

Me and my family had a great stay. Property was picture perfect. Lots of hiking trails. Love the small town vibe. Very relaxing and peaceful. Will definitely book this place again.

Our family of four loved the view at Anchors Aweigh! The chalet was very clean and cozy. Mara was great and very responsive! It was our first trip to Lake Lure — hopefully not the last : )

Great getaway

I took my daughter and her friend for a long weekend and we had the best time! We kayaked and we fished and we swam and found some neat hiking areas nearby. The house was perfect for what we needed! I would definitely stay again.
