The staff was lovely and gave us several helpful tips for activities during our stay. The room was spacious and though a bit on the traditional side in terms of aesthetic, had great modern amenities like a heated bed, heated towel rack, awesome dual-head shower, etc. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed the morning breakfast and afternoon snack/wine. This is a beautiful property! We adored the room and the view! We had great service the first day and then unfortunately it went down from there. It could be because there were events there the other days of our stay, so they were spread thin since they are a small staff. Definitely unfortunate but the estate is beautiful regardless.

Honeymoon heaven

We booked three nights in the cottage as part of our honeymoon and was not disappointed. The whole estate has the wow factor overlooking the lake and the cottage exceeded our expectations. Hosts very accommodating and even presented us with a free bottle of wine on account of it being our honeymoon. All staff we encountered were lovely and went out of their way for us. Good range of breakfast choices available. Only a 10-15 minute drive away to the centre of Queenstown. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip.

Wonderful stay! Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. The estate is situated outside of Queenstown proper ~20 mins from the airport, on a hill overlooking the beautiful surrounding Lake Hayes area. They plussed up the experience with an evening cheese board and glass of their house Pinot Rose, just 👌. The property amenities read that there is airport transport which is not accurate, but it is easy to get a rideshare/taxi out to the property. If staying at the estate consider booking a dinner at the near by Amisfield restaurant for a Michelin Star worthy experience.

Incredible customer service in the midst of covid

My husband and I were supposed to stay with Stoneridge for our anniversary bit an impromptu lockdown meant we couldn't travel. Stoneridge were incredibly accomodating refunding our dinner and organising a date transfer for our accomodation. Excellent and respect for customers in uncertain times.

Unfortunately we didn’t make it to Stoneridge as my husband got Covid on the morning we were due to fly to QT. The response we received regarding our booking was sympathetic but unhelpful as it’s premium accommodation we didn’t get to use. Watch out for cancellation policies as everyone on our trip was very accommodating. We won’t try and rebook another time.
