The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I injured my knee in transit to Bellagio, and the front desk staff very kindly helped me to find a qualified doctor and they cheerfully provided me with ice and suggested things to do that were nearby. It was a pleasure to stay at Spledide

Plentiful options for breakfast, front desk team very helpful, superb location and beautiful public spaces But… Room was typically smallish and bathroom was tiny. I didn’t think the public access to bathrooms was such a great idea as some non-guests could get up elevator into room area.

The hotel is very pretty and historic-looking, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast every morning was excellent. We had a nice room looking out to the lake, and as a surprising bonus, the window had automated roll shutters that kept the room dark for sleeping and blocked out any noise. Our only complaint is that the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress was hard and springy and the blankets were very thin. With a new bed and upgraded bedding, I would rate the property as 4 stars.

Wonderful location in Bellagio Italy. Close to all the restaurants, cafes and shopping with spectacular view of Lake Como. Convenient to the ferry shuttle. Breakfast was included and was decent. Our only complaint was that the elevator stopped working on check-out day. To be fair, the staff carried our bags down for us, so we did appreciate that. If you are looking to stay in Bellagio, you can't go wrong here.

It was a wonderful stay. The room was a bit boring with zero decor and no little amenities like coffee or water. The bed was old and not very comfortable. Otherwise it was very pretty and had amazing views.

Staff were amazing especially Gloria, she was just amazingly helpful and a credit to your business. The hotel is everything we expected and more. Typically Italian, fantastic location, great food, everything on hand and local. Shame about the parking situation but it's still the place to go in Bellagio.

We booked a lake view room and didn’t want to leave. We had the best view of the lake and were happy to spend time in the room because it was away from the hustle and bustle and we could enjoy Bellagio away from the crowds. Would do it again, worth the splurge. Even though it wasn’t high season the journey to get there was not fun, as we came through Como. Head to varenna instead and ferry from there.
