Welcome to your peaceful space in the Western Algarve countryside (algarvestonecottage).
There is a wraparound front terrace and another covered outdoor lounge in front of the bedroom. The kitchen door opens onto the private garden with stone pathways, swing and seating area. There's also an outdoor shower with hot water.
The property is surrounded by bush and mature trees making for plenty of shade around the cottage. You can see wild boar, fox, mongoose, and hedgehogs all year long and the bird watching is excellent. There is hiking, plus gravel and mountain biking throughout the area, and quick access to excellent beaches. Sporting equipment is available for rent in Lagos and other villages.
The satellite WiFi is strong throughout the building. Parking is provided alongside the cottage. Lagos is 10 minutes by car from here, and the property borders established walking and biking paths. Having lived in this spot more than 10 years, we can offer plenty of advice on things to see and do--much more to be found on FB, Instagram & internet.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom.
