High quality Lagos apartment.
This is a very comfortable and spacious apartment, which is excellently equipped and fully air-conditioned, with a shaded balcony possessing individual seating and dining areas, and a barbecue facility. The apartment’s attractive condominium building is located in a quiet section of Lagos, approx. 10-minutes’ walk from the centre of the town. The building-top pool is large and excellently maintained. Given the excellent quality of this apartment, it is a pity that accommodation management issues detracted from our 9-day stay. First of all, on arrival we realised that the barbecue gas canister was empty; despite informing the management company (Feels Like Home) on the day of arrival, with very regular follow-up requests, it took until day 4 for the canister to be replaced such that the barbecue unit was operational. Additionally, on the day of arrival we also realised that key fob/pass to allow access to the pool area was not operational; again, despite repeated requests from our day of arrival, it took until day 4-5 for the key fob to be collected for re-programming; by the time we left, the operational key fob had still not been returned. Luckily, we discovered an unlocked side gate/door, which allowed access to the pool area (despite an associated three floor climb). Given the level of quality (and related expense) of this apartment, the management company require to do better … and any future guests should ensure that such matters are in place before their arrival.
