Great location - very convenient. Personable staff who spoke English well.

Very close to the beautiful beaches. Just steps away from stunning views of the rock formations on the beach.

Beautiful location!! Steps away from the beach. Great views, breakfast was really good. Room was really nice and spacious with a terrace. I was using Uber everywhere. Around 4 Euro for the bus station. Love Lagos

Very helpful staff. Nice rooms. Great location bbbbbbbbbbbbvvbbbbv

There’s no parking around the hotel the hotel has no coffee inside the room the restaurant opens at 8, if you wake up early and you need coffee before you can do anything you’re out if luck till 8 am. The pictures of their rooms are nothing like the actual rooms. It’s not actually on the beach and there’s no beach view rooms. The hotel has another hotel and some stores in front of it and then it’s the beach.

The room seemed recently partially renovated. One of the closets did not have a finished floor and some trim work looked unfinished. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The restaurant had a very nice Rose' that we enjoyed with our dinner. Lagos is a beautiful area and the beach closest to this hotel is nice but crowded.

Rooms were clean , location was great and staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend !

The hotel is under renovation, so some rooms are not finished. The entire closet in our room was unusable because it had not been cleaned and painted and smelled old and musty. There isn't anywhere to rinse your feet when returning from the beach so you get a lot of sand in your room and shower. If you don't or can't bring beach towels with you, they do rent them but it's fairly expensive and they will not replace them with clean ones each day. The restaurant is amazing! Their menu had something for everyone, even our picky children! The staff was patient, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. It's also besutiful as it overlooks the ocean. The live music on Wednesday nights is fantastic!

Very easy access to the beach - 1 minute walk to gorgeous. safe beaches. On site restaurant is very good & the included breakfast is impressive. Staff very helpful. Pool is small but has a beautiful view. Rooms are simple with few amenities but beds are comfortable and it's clean. They charge you for things like beach towels and safe keys which I was a bit taken back by but other than that my experience was very positive.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They booked a kayaking tour for us and offered to let us shower at the hotel gym after we had already checked out. The view from the rooftop, which is where breakfast is served, is stunning! Plus the food was good too. The room was pretty basic but stylish and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Great location steps away from the gorgeous beach. A pleasant 10 minutes of walking gets you to the center of town for the best variety of restaurants and nightlife, though there are some options much closer too. The room was clean, the wifi worked well, the hotel bartenders are charming, and the breakfast was a nice perk. You can rent towels from the front desk to take to the beach too. This is not an all amenities resort, by any means, but it's a lovely place to stay and the location is perfect for a stress-free beach vacation.

The hotel and rooms have a clean, upscale decor, though the rooms are quite small, they are adequate in every way. The staff was friendly and the front desk very helpful.

We booked our room in mid January 2014 for a 1 night stay in June 14th. We selected and paid for an ocean side view room. We assumed that based on the pictures and description we would have a view of the ocean. We were wrong. Not only did we not have a view we had what must have been the worst room in the hotel. We were on the first floor over the hotel's entry and next to the stairs. Our view from the room consisted of all trees and the view from the deck were also trees. The only way you could get a partial view of the ocean was if you were standing and looking over the neighbor's privacy wall. When I raised the issue with the hotel manager he said hey you are on the ocean view side of the hotel. It doesn't seem to matter that you can't see the ocean and he said there was nothing he can do about it. Being over the entrance and next to the stairs it was noisy and loud. There were two bus loads of college students at the hotel and it was not until 5:30 in the morning that we could get some sleep. Management did nothing to control the noise in the rooms or the noise coming from being so close to the wooden stairwells. The rooms had tile floors so sound carried. We had only 1 drinking glass in the room that we had to share with each other. We had to use our shoulder and body weight to latch the bathroom door otherwise you would be using the bathroom and the door swings open. The air conditioner was not sufficient to cool the room and it took about three hours to get the temp manageable. I do not understand why we would get such a room when we booked early in the year. If anyone stays there they should get written confirmation that they are on the upper floors and close to the ocean. Given our experience I would not stay there again. I only hope their sister hotel (Carvi Hotel Manhattan New York) does a better job delivering facility and customer service otherwise they will fail. I must say the beds were comfortable and the woman working the desk the following morning was very nice and accommodating.. NOTE- We booked early and online and do not understand why we got such a poor room. Does the Carvi hotel hold the worst rooms for online reservation that do no go directly through Carvi?

Close to the beach. Has it's own bar, which is cheap even for Portugal. The breakfast was good. Mainly cold dishes but hot eggs and bacon. They have a grill so that you can melt cheese etc on toast. Just outside the door is a little tourist train that does a circuit for €2.50 per person. It leaves at 25 past the hour. Would stay there again.
