Holiday Inn Lafayette-City Centre

This Holiday Inn is in a nice location in the center of Lafayette. It is within walking distance to several restaurants. The hotel room was spacious except for the bathroom. it only had a shower. The furniture in the room was showing its age. The hotel was clean it just seemed that an update should be coming soon. For the price it should have included breakfast.

Room is clean and stuff is friendly but no Refrigerator, no slipper.

The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant was delicious. I would stay here again but I would bring my wet suit so that swimming is a bit more comfortable.

I stayed here for one night with family. Pros - Location is convenient and safe. About a mile from the Purdue campus and quite a few restaurants within a few minutes' drive - Rooms appeared to be reasonably clean and well-maintained Cons - We turned on the heater because we were feeling a bit cold after coming in from the rain. Immediately, there was a burning smell in the room that was very strong and repulsive. When we called the front desk, they sent somebody over but the person just said that it is the smell of the heating element and that nothing can be done about it. Well, I've stayed in more than a dozen hotels in the last one year and I've never smelled anything so strong when I switched on the heater. Their refusal to look into it and resolve the problem was a bit disappointing. We had to sleep that night with the smell lingering in the room, and we did not turn on the heater again. - The restaurant doesn't seem to be equipped to handle crowds. The staff looked very stressed out and disorganized. - Elevator doors close a bit too fast for my comfort.

Start to finish, there was excellent customer service. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of space in the bathroom as well. Overall pleasant experience.

All good things to say on this hotel - great service, impressive accommodations - writing this review to provide one piece of information to those that might need it. The swimming pool is pretty small and not kid friendly - and there's no hot tub (which my kids will play in when no adults are present). So, if you're looking for accommodations that include kid-friendly-pool, then this is somewhat liking.

Excellent location, restaurant located in Hotel was a bit expensive.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. also the hotel location was excellent. It would be helpful though, if the rooms were equipped with a safe. Other than that, staying at this hotel was a very nice experience.

Great place to stay for dropping off and pick up students from Purdue .

This is a lovely hotel in a charming area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a nice full service restaurant on property. The staff was very friendly. I accidently booked on the wrong day online but the hotel management changed the day for me without any additional charges. Parking is limited, but wasn't a huge issue. I was able to park on the street right next to the hotel without paying for a meter. Overall nice exerpience. I would stay there again.

Everything about this place is great when visiting Purdue except Parking. The lot is way undersized and its hard to find a place to Park

Great location for moving your student in to Purdue and for dining in Lafayette!

This was a very reasonable distanced hotel from Purdue University and West Lafayette. Nice location in the downtown area.

My wife and I visit Lafayette at least three times a year, dropping off, picking up, or just visiting our daughter who attends Purdue. We've found this hotel to be much more convenient to the campus and much nicer than the other hotels or motels, most of which are out near the I65/South State interchange. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the hotel itself is thoroughly up-to-date; it has the appearance of being completely new. We don't stay anwhere else now.

Excellent staff and location. Very clean hotel.

This hotel is wonderfully accommodating and provided a well-appointed room with an luxurious mattress. The location is suitable for leisurely walks through much of downtown Lafayette, Main Street, the courthouse area, and even across the Wabash to the levy. The staff are quite professional and charming. Overall a great locale!

I was in town for business, and I was not able to book the normal hotel that I usually do. I made a reservation for the King Executive room at the City Centre, and it was nice enough, it was just not modern whatsoever. The TV was a 27' tube, there was no refrigerator, the shower was a bit weird with no door. All that considered, it was clean and comfortable, and a bit cheaper than my normal option.

Lovely pool which was the highlight of the childrens stay. The photos showed a hot tub, which was not there was a disappointment. Our floor had a foul odor, like rotten garbage, and the lady manager was a bit rude when I informed her. Pillows and bedding were clean and comfortable. I felt the bathrooms needed to be cleaner. I had to scrub the tub before I felt comfortable putting the babies in. Most staff were welcoming and accomadating. Good hotel for the price.

The hotel was very nice. I didn't have any problems. When we needed more towels they were up with them in 10 minutes. It was also very clean. I will definitely stay there next time.
