The staff was very nice and helpful. The facility appears to be going though an upgrade. My room was clean and neat but there was a picture leaning against the wall on the floor and the toilet paper dispenser was full with two new rolls of toilet paper but was pulling away from the wall. Shower was clean but shower curtain had torn holes on top where it attaches to the bar only one or two but did not interfere with shower. The room was clean, bed was comfy. In a few weeks to a month I think things will be fixed an it will be a super place to stay. I would book a room again.
Disgustingly filthy. Derelict conditions. I’m surprised Days Inn hasn’t revoked their franchise affiliation. Trashy parking lot. Not the building in the photos - different color altogether. Window screens torn and derelict furniture in the back lot. Doormat was filthy. Pills (ibuprofin?) on the floor by the elevator. Paint scuffed like a halfway house, bathroom countertop was broken and poorly glued together. , Booked a double but they “oversold” them and placed us in a single.
I had limited choices for affordable hotels during the Purdue graduation time but this hotel is in total dissrepair. the walls have holes and unpainted patches, no headboard on the bed, and the lobby is in terrible condition. The breakfast was a joke and we had to eat out everyday. Maid service was spotty. The one positive thing was that the beds were comfortable.
Let’s be honest…you get what you pay for. It a room with a comfortable bed. It is by no means extravagant, but they have what you need. Our room was right next to the elevator. It could be heard throughout the night. The continental breakfast was toast, cereal, coffee, a mix of granola bars and juice. This is the third time that I’ve stayed here. Why? Because it’s very affordable and comfortable. If I wanted more…I’d pay more. If you are able to look beyond frills I would highly recommend this hotel. It is centrally located in the middle of everything that you could possibly need. Happy travels!!
I am on the executive staff for a hotel downtown Madison, WI. I am very understanding, especially knowing staffing levels being low. I just did not feel emotion from any employees, the guy working the desk was asleep as I tried to turn in room keys and ask about breakfast. The single pot of coffee was empty by 7 am. The hallways being very dirty. Paint chopping off of every wall. It's easier to at least appear more clean. So disappointed
paint peeling, no plate on door frame for door latch, dirty, air conditioner would vibrate room when turning on.
This place has lots of living residents and smells of cooking, etc. so it was NOT a nice hotel
This hotel is a dump. There was literally trash was under both beds. Room smelled. Walls damaged. Stains on carpet. There were even stains on the television screen. Disgusting.
Unprofessional repairs throughout the room. Stains on carpet, walls, bedsheets and towels. Inadequate lighting (one light in the whole room). Cigarette smell throughout the building and the room. Antiquated A/C. Insect infested. If this facility represents Days Inn, does this also represent Wyndham group in general?
There was not a breakfast as advertised. Gave me a bag with oreo cookies. Will bot stay here again.
comfortable beds and welcoming staff. HOwever, once inside the room you will notice that towels and bedding is stained, dust around the room, actually there was mold visible within the vent of the AC unit. Bathroom fixtures were broken, etc. This place needs significant work.
We went to room and walked out. The room was outdated and dingy. Huge stain on one of the pillow cases and holes in bedding. Stains on walls. Bathroom ceiling had mold stains and had holes on walls.
Allergies were incredibly severe after 5 minutes in the room. Pulled the AC filters in the morning and they were caked in years worth of dust and dirt. Doubt they had ever been cleaned. Dirty filters also caused a noisy and low output AC unit. A miserable night.
Accommodations were as expected for the price. I didn’t like that the front desk was reusing the key card holders and just using white out to change the room number. During covid that seems like a cheap thing to cut corners with. Made me wonder what other things weren’t getting cleaned well.
Building needs to be better maintained. Room was really small.
They had a room available on Football Saturday but you soon find out why.
The place was a little run down such as rips in bedding and curtains. The ice machine was broken. And bed was very squeaky.
