We were visiting friends in Lafayette. This Holiday Inn Express was a nice place to stay. Clean, safe and comfortable! This Holiday Inn Express also was close to shopping. We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express twice and we will stay here again soon.

Stayed here for two nights and had no issues. The breakfast was decent for a hotel free breakfast nothing special, attendant was very nice. Room was clean and had been freshly painted. The staff were very friendly.

King suite was roomy, well-furnished and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room and the hotel in general were very quiet. Breakfast is the usual fare, but it was hot and the breakfast area was clean. There is only 1 elevator for a 3-floor hotel. The stairs are easy and convenient. Parking wasn't a problem, but it can be difficult to exit the parking lot onto the highway.

Breakfast, clean room, welcome to small dogs, refrigerator, microwave, and quiet: that's all we weary travelers needed for less than $100 a night. Lafayette offers Cajun food, swamp tours and interesting history. It is spread out so use the GPS to find it.

We stayed here unexpectedly after a long drive trying to make it home. I was so pleased to see it was a newer hotel. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. The foyer had a beautiful staircase to the side and then opened up to the common areas. The decor throughout had a modern, clean vibe. The restroom was stocked with two sets of toiletries and soft, high quality towels. The beds were just firm enough for a great night sleep. Would definitely choose to stay here again if ever in Lafayette again.

We visited the Holiday Inn Express on Evangeline parkway in Lafayette for a soccer tournament. The hotel looked brand new even though it was 2 years old. Very clean rooms and bathrooms with bar and restaurant in lobby. It was conveniently located within 10 minutes of Moore Park Soccer complex. I will definitely be back to this hotel for more soccer family trips.

staff were fine and friendly, the room was comfortable enough...however, this hotel is far from I-10 (my fault for not researching the location better), there was a smell in the elevator and hallways, our room bathroom had some issues...very slow draining sink, the shower curtain wouldn't close properly and the shower head kind of sprayed all over but not concentrated for a proper shower. So, while it wasn't terrible, it wasn't even up to normal Holiday Inn standards...therefore, I generously mark it as average.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express and have never been there before. The 2nd day of our stay we went to go in our room and couldn't get in our keys wouldn't work. The staff, the 2 young ladies at the front desk were very helpful. We had a softball game to get to and upon returning the lock was fixed and a basket of goodies was left for us with a letter of apology. We always stay at Holiday Inn Express and this is what will keep us staying in this Hotel chain.

We were a walk in, on Monday 7-10-2017, from the very beginning the front desk clerk was very friendly. They had rooms available but what I thought was cheaper on the internet ended up being a nightmare with Expedia. The front desk clerk said no problem have them call me so they won't charge you a cancellation fee. And she ended up giving us a room at her cheapest rate due too all the crap Expedia gave us, and she didn't have to do that. The room is nice/clean/smells good, a Keurig, microwave, little refrigerator. Would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to eat breakfast in the am. Heard it was good as well.

I am always looking for the best hotels to stay in, since I live in them for months a time. I suggest that you try the Holiday Express Inn in Lafayette, LA. I found it to have very clean guest rooms and the ground are well maintained. The hotel has a pool around the back side and fenced in. The employees are very friendly and always greeting you whenever they see you. The breakfast is hot with eggs, biscuits and gravy, along with sausage or ham. There is always cold cereal, milk, juices and warm cinnamon rolls are the best. The coffee is always hot and in the afternoon warm chocolate chip cookies. And this Holiday Express Inn a “King” room, which nice large room with a small wet bar. Very nice. I hope they remember me, because I left every employee of the hotel with two large Hershey chocolate bars. Had a great time.
